My son took an interest in space and wanted a telescope for his birthday, so we bought him one. It's pretty fascinating! So fast forward to now and this is our 3rd telescope purchase for the family. Each time I've spent a bit more and have been able to upgrade to a nicer telescope. Coming from our last one with an 800mm refractor to this one with a 900mm refractor, this telescope is larger. The trade-off is that it is a more premium telescope, so everything from the build quality to the features has improved. I'll cover a few of my favorites things about it below.First off, the tripod is great - it's sets up easy and makes the telescope nice and tall so you don't have to bend over much. It's also pretty solid.Next, this telescope has a 36x-450x magnification depending on which eyepieces you use. This is a nice step up from our last one that was 32x-400x.My favorite feature by far is the fine-tune, slow-motion adjustment knobs. These are amazing as they allow you to tweak the vertical or horizontal view to lock in on your target without having to physically move the whole telescope. Coming from several previous telescopes that lack this feature, this alone was worth the upgrade.Like most telescopes this one also includes the attachments to hook your phone up to it to take photos. I tried to do this so I could post some photos of the moon but the bugs and mosquitoes were so bad I couldn't hold still long enough to get a clear photo. I upload a fussy one anyway just to show you it works. I'll update my review later with some better ones. My advice on using that attachment is to test it out indoors with the phone you plan to use and get it all ready to go indoors so all you have to do is place it on the telescope and start snapping photos. A lot of cameras have more than one lens so that can make the attachment a bit tricky to use, especially if you're trying to set it up in the dark outside.I'm very happy with this purchase. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be a carrying bag to hold it all for easier transport and protection. Since I don't plan to haul it around it's really no big deal.

It was pretty heavy, heavier than I thought. Then again if quality materials are used it should be heavy and possibly could last a lot longer than some plastic stuff. But at this point I just need the light weight one that will do the trick. I’m sure neither are as great of a quality as the professional ones. My kids had a hard time figuring out the lenses on their own.Would be nice find a video tutorial for them.It had everything as on picture. But we will stick to the basics. Please make the introductions better.

The product was packed in good condition and shipped on time. The tripod is very stable and high quality. For starters, this telescope has proven to be easy to assemble and use. The clarity is amazing. I was impressed by its overall quality.

Fast delivery and good packing. This is an excellent telescope that takes stargazing to the next level. It is very easy to install. I used it to shoot close-up videos of the moon and it really surprised me. Look forward to seeing how the telescope observes planets and deep space objects. It is worth recommending!
