The quality was better than expected for the price. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to assemble.You will have to cut the string and attached the pen to the book mark. Very nice shower gift, it was worth the effort.

The kit comes with the little card and the twine to tie the pen to the card, super easy. We were shocked at the great quality and quantity for the price. They made for perfect shower favors that are also functional. Would absolutely buy them again.

You have to put it together yourself which can be tedious or relaxing. The guests loved it and they say it writes really well. The size was great too, not too big and not too small. Got these for my baby shower as thank you gifts. Be careful they do not come already tied to the card. They will send you the cord and cards with pens separately but its very easy to do. The pens are good quality.

These were simple to put together and wrote very nice. Your fingers will hurt a bit after all the knots you will tie but worth it.
