It's the perfect length for what I need, and it has plenty of outlets. I like that they face away from each other; it maximizes the amount of outlets I can use at once. Only problem is that it emits a very high-pitched noise when it's plugged in, even when none of the devices that are plugged into it are on. So if you're using it next to your bed, make sure it's far enough away that the noise doesn't bother you.

I'm all about how a product functions toward its intended purpose, and I was immediately impressed unpacking this. It feels solid- like it actually does something- and the cable is a very sturdy and reassuring gauge with good insulation. I love that there was a 12' cable option, so I don't need to plug into an additional extension to reach the far away outlet. But even if you are close to an outlet, there is a handy velcro strap attached to the cord so you can bundle up excess neatly. The eight outlets are spaced cleverly to optimize potential plug space and also utilize space efficiency overall. The USB ports are really nice so I can feel safe charging my devices and not have to hog up a whole outlet port for something that draws relatively little current. I truly can't think of a way this could be better- of course you always want to pay less, but I'd definitely pay more than $30 now that I have it (but don't tell BESTEK that please!)

I needed a surge protector power strip that was wall mountable and had USB charging ports as well. There are hundreds to choose from on Amazon. While browsing and looking at reviews, this one stood out for me. I ordered it and it was delivered the next day. Since I needed to mount it, I was surprised to find a sticker inside that you can place on the wall and perfectly mark the spot for your mounting holes. This made the install super quick and easy. The 90 degree outlet made it easy to move furniture back in place and the product provides exactly the solution I was looking for. Already considering a couple more for other rooms.

Love this power strip. Love the USB ports and that the plugs align the way they do. Especially the two at the ends separate which is perfect for plugs that align sideways. Gives plenty of room for different types of plugs. Will be ordering more once I have the cash for my other rooms. Living in an old house with only one socket per room makes these essential!

I really like it. I can't speak to how long it will last, but all indications are that it will hold up quite while for a long time. Everything is as described, the cord is sturdy, and I am very pleased with this product.Don't know why Amazon asked me to rate it for travel, but it's a power strip with 8 outlets, so it's not a convenient size for travel, nor does it have (or claim to have) any adapters for foreign outlets.Would definitely buy again, for use in my home only, of course.

This product is everything it claims to be. Be advised, 245J is NOT a big surge protection capability. If you're worried about big surges, this is not the protector for you. That said, this fine for most people.My only complaint is that it is not very secure in the outlet the unit itself plugs into. When plugging or unplugging power or USB cables, be sure to hold the device in the wall socket to prevent it from shifting or coming free. That means two hands - one to push/pull or cord and one to hold the surge protector.What I really like about it is its size. It packs into my travel bag really easily and _much_ smaller than a pair of wall-wort USB chargers plus a mini power-strip.

Our previous extension cord died after 14 years (was a Belkin) and we looked specifically to have the new one have integrated USB ports. This one ticked all the boxes, apart from the 1 that we didn't think about till delivery. Specifically, the plug WILL block the bottom outlet if you plug it in on the top. Something to take into consideration. I wish we had found out about it before purchasing, it would definitely have been a factor in our decision. As it stands, we will keep the unit. Let's hope it will last as long as our previous one.

Pictures can be deceiving. Unit is small too. I will be able to use only 6 outlets max, possibly just 4 because distance between them are short and I have large AC power adapters. Was disappointed it had virtually no weight on it either. Will have to screw it to the wall or use industrial velcro, otherwise it's not going to be stable. I was expecting a higher build quality in general for $40. I should've spent twice and buy another CyberPower EC650LCD, I already have 3 at home. With the CyberPower EC650LCD, it gives you UPS battery backup and 8 high quality outlets with larger separation between rows. Also, it's heavy so you won't move it by accident and risk pulling the plugs and disconnecting your electronic devices.BESTEK 8-Outlet Surge Protector looks and feel very generic like the stuff you'd get from a dollar store. The only reason why I bought it because of multiple positive reviews. I guess, if you haven't known any better...I should've stick to brand names as APC, Belkin, Cyberpower or even Amazon Basics. I will not recommend this product at its current price level.The only realistically positive feature is the 12 foot power cord which looks thick enough and well made as well The power cord weight is at least as twice as the power surge protector unit.Update(08-22-20): 3 Prong main connector is a high quality one. Currently using 2 USB charging ports, one to occasionally charge my PS4 controller and the other one to feed my powered HDMI switch. It seems to providing a steady 2.4A required for my powered HDMI switch while handling my PS4 Pro without any issues. Outlet plugs on power surge protector are made of a decent quality.As Expected, while plugging my two(2) TECKIN Smart Plug Mini WiFi Outlets to control my Odroid-N2Plus's wirelessly, I lost ability to use 2 Outlets because of the proximity to each other. In my case it went down to 6 working outlets only.

Got myself a Stand up electric desk. And with that came some interesting problems in terms of cable management. Bought this, and used strong velcro strips to secure it undearneath the desk.I really wanted something with a long cable to allow a lot of movement. And this did the job perfectly. Didn't think I'd end up using the USB ports. But for charging peripherals or my phone. It's definitely handy!They also did a good job of having great spacing between each plug, with some that are extra isolated for power bricks.

It does what it says, its compact, well designed and tidy. It's light too so I mounted mine upside down under my desk. I had actually ordered the longer length cable, but was given the shorter one. Amazon remedied this by giving me a partial refund which I was satisfied with. The short cable IS short though, so if your setup requires distance to an outlet then look elsewhere.
