My kids (4 and 7) love playing with this lawn dart set. They play at a shorter distance but have fun doing it. We’ve had it out for a couple bbqs and some of the adults enjoy playing. It’s been added to our rotation of corn hole and horseshoesI do wish it stored better/easier. The rings get bent out of shape pretty easily.

The Franklin Sports NERF Lawn Darts set is nice. The darts have a good heft to them, but not too much. The rings are very lightweight and easy to work with. The set is very easy to transport!

Think this is a great set to have on hand for kids or adults to pull out during backyard hangouts, easy to set up and play with in moments. The darts are mostly a semi-firm rubberish material but are shockingly hefty, the ends feel like they're filled with something like sand so they're going to fly and land right. Bigger kids aren't going to have any trouble throwing them but I could see smaller kids needing to play at a shorter distance because of the weight of the darts. The rings are a slight negative for me, they come in four parts each but still don't fit in the box without bending them some. You wind up having to shape them and fuss with them a bit to get them mostly circular and if you take them apart and store it back in the box you'll be repeating that. Wish the box was slightly larger or something to alleviate that but I get that it's hard to fit such drastically different size and shape items into a single package. Overall it's a fun set to have on hand.

If you hear “Nerf” and think “soft,” then be aware that these lawn darts are a little larger than a soda can and weigh more than half a pound each, a hefty 9.2 oz. They are made of flexible rubber with a cap that probably contains sand to act as a weight. It’s important to secure pets and make sure children will use them responsibly. I appreciate that the rings (more square-shaped, and 18” diagonal, when first put together) can be disassembled to take up less storage space, for transport, or to create smaller targets. They slide together rather than snapping in place, so this seems likely to last longer. The box includes instructions and rules, but all that is needed is a strip of level ground, the rings and darts. Cornhole is great, but this set is a lot easier to carry.

The Nerf soft-tip lawn darts are vibrant, solid, and fun to throw. My one critique is that I would expect a better-quality ring for this being a Nerf product. The box is a rectangular prism, but the hoops are round - so you get the idea. The set arrives with four smaller rings that connect to create two larger rings. Once connected, the rings are wonky due to being bent from the rectangular box. Is it a huge deal? No, but for the price, I do think customers might want to be aware of this.

I have fond memories of watching my older cousins get pummeled with lawn darts- these are not them! Much safer and just as fun. More compact than corn hole, I'm excited to bring them to my next tailgating event. Great for kids of all ages

I'm old enough to remember the original lawn darts and the wildly dangerous games just begging to puncture a lung. This set is not nearly as sketchy, you could take a nice knock on the head if you're in the wrong place but minimal sharp parts.The set is very portable, I wish it came with a little bag or something (the box was properly beat up after shipping) but I'll figure something out. The instruction sheet is also underwhelming, improvement idea; print them right on the darts, there's room.The rings are really simple, not a lot to mess up. The "darts" are pretty stout, so far they haven't shown any damage or wear. We play mostly on grass or dirt, if you were on concrete they may get a bit more beat up.Retail price ($25) is a bit high, not a deal at that price. In the $15 range I think these are great, a lot of fun for all ages.
