Used this for building a cabinet - Worked like a champ once I set the offset where I needed it.Printed instructions with the jig are pretty solid as well.Worth the money.

The holes can be a little messy, but if you follow the directions and get the drill up to full speed before touching the wood, it helps a lot. Driving in the screws can make the board shift a little, but this is common to all pocket screw joints. Just clamp your workpieces firmly and it will help to minimize the movement.This is a great value, and is very sturdy. Wen for the Win!

well made solid piece of metal seems like it will last longer then those plastic ones. Its got a good heft to it. What I like is that it has all sizes from 1/8" to 3/8" in 64s so for any pilot size you need this has got you covered. The engraved markings are hard to read so I may fill it in with white paint to give more contrast.The one negative I have and what knocks it down a star is that it is very slippery, there is no grip to it so it just slides on the surface you are drilling so getting a perfectly centered hole is difficult. You need to concentrate and hold it tightly so it doesn't move on you. I fixed it by adding "cat tongue" grip tape to the bottom, this did the trick and it no longer slides around and I can drill the holes just where I want without any mistakes.

If you’re going to do pocket hole joinery, this is a great way to go. It’s a well built, solid tool that is super easy to use. The clamp is strong, making it easy to position for larger panels and you don’t have to worry about a separate clamp to hold it in place, even though that is an option with the included portable bracket. Some tips for drilling, the cutter bit seems to do better at higher speeds. And quick shot of WD-40 on the shaft of the bit helps reduce wear on the metal to metal contact where the bit contacts the collars.

Used the jig for Miter joint fasteners on a teak table project. Tricky, but served its purpose. I would like to see the manufacturer provide longer replacement sleeves for the drill bit entry so the block does not wear out from the drill bit abrasion, only replace sleeves and the unit will last a long time.

My youngest daughter has gotten into woodworking and wanted something beyond the single pocket hole device. Searched hard to find one similar to mine but when I saw the WEN didn’t think twice as I have had great experiences with their tools. Daughter is happy so win-win!

I like that it’s heavy duty and made a steel. I dislike that it was so difficult to read the tool sizes that I took my kids white crayon and filled them in and sprayed some clear enamel over it.

Tried to save 30 bucks by getting this for ~23$ over the big gator tool. Standard 1/8 jobber bits ain’t gonna work because the block is too tall. Orientation is very strange but whatever. Not worth it. Sad!

It makes wood working so much easier. Now I can build my own kitchen cabinets
