Decent cutter. 2.54cm long
Seems well made and sturdy enough. Pole is a simple extend and twist lock.There seemed to be confusion around the size and cutting height. It is 100 inches or 2.54m from tip of handle to pruner. For the knife extension add about another 25 to 30cm to end of knife or about 10 to 15cm for the middle part of the knife.Cutting heightI can hold the handle about head height. I'm 6ft so I'd say you can cut around 1ft off your height plus the length. In my case thats 1.5m (5ft) + 2.54cm so I can cut around 3.5m high (more when stood on the garden table, but I was naive thinking the kids wont grass me up to the wife! Lol)It cuts about an inch (2.5cm) thick branches with the clipper. It's got a ratchet so cutting though tough branch can take a couple of cuts sometimes but it made short work of my neighbours over hanging tree branches.I haven't used the saw attachment so cant comment on that.

Great easy to use
Very good for cutting down trees

The cutting edge for lopping was very sharp and worked well.
The assembling instructions were very poor consisting of just a tiny printed picture.Not very clear.The saw attachment tends to work loose while being used (the screw becomes unscrewed). Needs better attachment.

Generally a good tool but a little awkward when useing with the saw attachment between the branches

It won't last long
It does the job but already starting to wear (poles bending, rope fraying) after working on a row of trees

Utter rubbish
I foolishly bought this to replace one my late husband has had for approx 20 years. I thought it looked identical but no. The pole is strong but the cutting mechanism is rubbish not strong enough for even the smallest of branches. Do not recommend

Handy and versatile tool
Very happy with this tool, makes those hard to reach jobs so much easier to manage. With the saw blade on, it's a little tricky to manoeuvre if working in a constrained space and at full extension; therefore it's handy that the blade can be removed when only the lopper mechanism is needed. Recommendation - always put the blade bolt back in place immediately after removing the blade so you don't lose it!
