Good replacement
I bought these for my new pool plumbing I installed to connect to my Hayward filter. The Hayward type that has a cartridge filter

Buy 2 packs just in case!
I bought these to install a used Hayward C4030 cartridge filter I got on Facebook marketplace. Surprised things like this aren't standardized, but Hayward changed the fitting between now and 1998. These couplings worked just fine! I have never glued 2" pvc pipes together, so make sure to buy two packs of these in case you screw up the first time like I did! other recommendations are to make sure to dry fit EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING tightly before you start to glue things, and start gluing from the existing tubing towards the filter so that you have the ability to course-correct. Definitely lo. I used oatey purple primer and some blue monster pvc glue with these and the 2" dia schedule 40 pipe they had at home depot. Rating 4-stars but will bump up to 5 if they survive the winter here in Texas.

Used these to repipe the filter on my pool. They worked perfectly. Recommended.

Something wrong with the plastic it is made from.
I have been using PVC and CPVC for over 30 years. Something is wrong with this plastic. I had a horrible day trying to make this work. Still leaking.
