I unwrapped the two pair I ordered today and tried them both on. I was careful to remove the clear protective lense covers on each pair before using them. Unfortunately they didn't work for reading, mid-distance viewing, or anything else I tried to read or watch. I only need them for reading and my usual cheaters are a pair of Foster Grants at a low level of magnification, 1.75. Bought them off the rack at the grocery store and they work great.The adjusters on each side are hard to turn, feel too flimsy to last, and don't seem to have enough range to get these glasses into focus. They're useless and I'll be returning them immediately. These are an appealing idea that this company can't pull off so save your money.
