I recently purchased the AlkiVision 2K Lightbulb Security wireless outdoor 360-degree AI Motion Detection Camera. I have two standard cameras at my front door, one being a doorbell camera, similar to a ring, not hard-wired; therefore, approximately once per month, you must bring it in the house to charge the battery overnight. I also have a solar active camera that zooms in on the front area of my home, and I use that mostly when the other camera is not in use or to better look at what it is I want to see. What I am missing, and why I purchased this kind of bulb that, after its initial charge and pairing, I placed at the corner of my home where I have a side door with a light to the right of my property, is that this bulb can pan 360 degrees, so I get a beautiful color view day or night, including my street, two neighbors' properties, and my long driveway with a side yard and high fence. It's such a clear picture. I also picked up that front area of my house, not only much more clearly than the two other cameras but in color also. After the initial stage pairing, you can set up family sharing so that you can select others of your choosing to whom you send a link so they can view the security warnings shared with you.I'm pleased with my AlkiVision 2K Lightbulb Security Camera. I bought this camera because I wanted the security a camera provides without the high price of the popular doorbell cameras. Could a decent camera be had for less money?The camera is easy to install. Screw it in the socket where you normally would the bulb on your porch light. Download the app and use it to connect the camera to your wi-fi. You can adjust the settings right from your phone within the app. You may need to center the camera manually to ensure its field of view is centered when you pan/tilt the camera using your phone or tablet. The night vision is clear and bright although you can also use the White Light feature to really brighten things up. You can turn on the microphone to hear people or whatever else is outside your door and there is a speaker so you can talk back. There is also a siren/alarm function, which is loud. You can adjust the sensitivity as well as whether the camera tracks people only or pets or any movement at all. The motion tracking works well and I set it to "medium". The camera stores events (people knocking on your door,etc.) for 3 days without paying for a subscription or inserting an SD card although you can choose to do either or both to extend this function. I found 3 days to be enough for my needs. You can set alerts to notify you when the camera detects motion while you are away and using your phone you can see and interact with the camera in real time.Verdict:An all aroud great camera,especially at this price point. Excellent.

It would be great if the white light that works as a light bulb was brighter but otherwise works great. I love the motion detection and being able to control that on the camera as well. Super easy to install right as a lightbulb and doesn't need charging. Recording and video quality is great. Ring video quality is better, but I love this more than my Ring camera, but wouldn't replace the Ring camera since it can be only be put inside lightbulbs.

I have 2 of these cameras. One I purchased about 6 months ago that covers the garage/driveway area and a second I received via a promotion that covers the back covered patio area of the house. I previously was using a battery operated camera system that I had spent a couple hundred $s on but didn't put it back up after some remodeling was done to the exterior of the home. My wife actually found these cameras. I'll be honest and state that I had low expectations considering how inexpensive these were but I have been greatly impressed. I like that these have 360 degree movement ability. The software setup was easy and straight forward. The app is also easy to use. The garage camera is about 100 ft from my Wi-Fi mesh repeater and has no problem with signal strength. Picture quality is great. If you don't have a light socket available to use but have an electrical outlet that sits high enough then you can use a a plug in light socket converter for use with the camera.
