Great bottles, here's how to preserve the stoppers!
I use these bottles for several things, like making cold-brewed coffee, for cold fridge water, iced tea, juices. So happy to find them here so they match the ones I already had. They have a rubbery stopper top that used to come in 3 colors, but only white on here. The diff colors help me ID coffee vs tea. But I noticed when I hand wash the stoppers, they get sort of sticky and remain that way after drying them. Now I know what's causing it.The liquid dish soap is doing it. I use 2 diff kinds, both with OXY, and they're very potent. Once I switched to (brand name rhymes with Mivory) clear, with no dyes or oxy, the rubber stoppers feel normal again. Now I'm using it on all of my glass bowl plastic lids, too. I'll bet they'll last a lot longer that way and not crack or fall apart.Oxy dish soap is highly touted in vids for clearing toilet jams, and that's maybe the best use for them. Or for washing glass or metal dishes. But NOT for my plastic and rubber dish items anymore!!

Great for sun tea
These are just like the ones I had from my childhood - with the exception of the stopper/lid. Back in the day, the stopper we had was hard plastic and would outlast anything. These silicone lids are ok.I use these for sun tea and lemon water. They are easy to carry and well made. I would buy again.

Shameful products
The rating doesn’t allow for zero stars.Very very poor quality. Ordered this and both pitchers were warped/defective. Seriously one couldn’t even stand up right. Returned and ordered second one thinking that was a fluke. Both cracked upon use. Yes the replacements!I’ve had these 25 years ago and remembered the quality as stellar. I can only ask “what happened “? I contacted customer service at Amazon via chat. They were so helpful and asked if I wanted my money back which I accepted. Oddly though they sent me a QR code to return the items! I couldn’t send both back because one shattered upon use and the other upon putting liquid in it began flowing water from a hole on the bottom side! At least I had that one to send, hole and all! Hopefully it will get someone’s attention there. The glass at the breakage was unbelievably thin. But as mentioned before my previous experience with Anchor Hocking products (before Amazon even existed) was stellar. So very sad….

Practical, sturdy glass pitchers
I've been trying to get away from plastic, and these fit the bill. They are just right to fit in the fridge door, and work great for our orange juice and for Fiji silica water. Some have remarked that they are rather lightweight glass, but once you get them full, you'll be glad that they aren't so heavy. They hold just the right amount for our needs and are easy to clean. As with any glass, they require careful handling, but that's just commonsense and not a drawback, IMO.Very happy with them. Would recommend.

Bad lids - then broke from hot water
Update: they sent me replacement lids which were fine. But today- after using one of the carafes just once before- the bottom broke out causing a mess of tea and broken glass all over the place. Should I have known not to pour boiling water into this thing? Maybe so…I knew the glass was thin. But I wanted it for making ice tea with boiling water, so its kinda worthless to me now.Glass is not as thick as I was expecting but what ticks me off is that one of the flimsy lids was crushed so badly it will never even come close to sealing the pitcher, and the other lid (and one of the pitchers) was covered in a very thin very black ink/grease! This is something you drink from! I contacted Anchor through the link on Amazon asking for new lids. If they send em timely I will add 1 more star; if they dont I will deduct 2

Nice Pitcher, Loose Lid
These seem be great pitchers, will fit in the refrigerator nicely, & will be one more way we can reduce our plastic contamination. But, as many others have said, the lid leaves something to be desired. One lid fits semi-snugly and it wouldn't be too bad if they were both like this. But the other just sits loosely on top. Is there any way to contact the manufacturer to ask for a lid replacement?

Lids too small for container
I love the glass container however the lids are a size too small. Lids just sit on top absolutely no seal. Since I washed them I am now tasked with finding a lid that seals
