I went overboard when I finally got the resources available to get my own house. I decided every switch, no matter how mundane, should have some sort of automation attached to it. And so, after really enjoying another brand of Z-Wave switches - they could not actually get me the stupid amount of switches I needed.I looked elsewhere, and Amazon had these available in the quantity I needed in a short time. And that's all I had. We were moving in, and I only had a limited time to be able to swap out the house full of switches. Pulled the trigger, and the next day a giant box full of z-wave switches arrived.Installation was straightforward - do the thing if you know what you're doing and get the switch installed. If you don't (or can't because of regulation/other reason) call someone. It's an easy job. Pairing with my home automation system was straightforward and after a hard days work the switches were cycled in.These have now been running in full operation for well over 3 years. They create a wonderful z-wave mesh in my home as they are distributed throughout the house. Only one has gone bad, and it's only bad in the sense that I can't get the z-wave controller to disassociate cleanly or do a hard reset. The switch itself still functions as a switch.Solid product, works as advertised. There are other cooler switches - for sure. I tried several of them. But, at the end of the day I needed something that still walks/talks/acts like a real house with automation as a bonus. These do the needful.NOTE: The switches themselves do throw off guests sometimes because they are not true toggle switches, but rocker switches. They'll get used to it fast enough, but if you're using this for automation consider some actual automation in commonly used areas (like a guest bathroom, hallway, or other areas)

Works like a charm. Just wish they were lower in price like 4-5 years ago.Paired with SmartThings along with several Zigbee/Zwave switches of this brand.

Great product and easy to install.

Been using these for yrs with alarm system.Will co time to use and replace as they fail from time to time.The newer version ones are more resilient in the higher temps than original versions.

Though the item description says "white and light almond rocker paddles are included," the item came only with almond and pink paddles; I needed a white paddle. A closer look found that the LED shown on the description was missing and no instruction paper was included. Probably, this was a returned item in a wrong package. Returned immediately.

I have installed many of these and reliability is an issue. They become unresponsive and useless. Sometimes they work for long periods and then suddenly fail to respond. Replacement is the only solution.

Easy to install and easy to program and set up.
