It might if, I could get it to work right, it would not play in my tablet/laptop or anything else I tried...

I was looking for something to convert old vhs to digital. This was relatively cheap, and does the job. I had a lot of short videos i wanted to convert. This was able to do it easily after some setup. You need to install the software that it comes with, then connect via svideo. My conversions were fine and quality was to be expected from old videos. It is also a cheap way to have svideo input with your computer. The software, could be better, but I would still recommend for a cheap way to convert old videos.

What company in this decade does not put their software online. I do not have a DVD drive, nor do I need one really. So the disc is useless. Fortunately at work our IT department had a DVD drive (not one of our 180 computers had a drive, that is how outdated that is) and I copied the files out.Got home and loaded the software. Restarted the computer. Did not work. Tested the VCR to the TV and it works. Then manually updated the driver. Restarted the computer. Nothing. Tried different USB's, different RCA cables, different inputs. Nothing.Looked for help on their site. Yeah. You guessed it. Nada.It really should not be an issue doing this, I had a delgato system last year and it worked the second I connected it. I lent it to my nephew and he broke it.The company is garbage, the product is garbage. Do not waste your money or more importantly your time, because you can't get a refund on that. Heading back to AMAZON with "Pile of crap" written on the box.

Video capture is very convenient. I spent hours converting all my family VHS tapes into digital video MP4 and stored on my computer. In addition, I posted some interesting videos on Youtube. So happy. It's really practical.

Didn't work and software company wouldn't support. Their response was that they didn't sell the software and so wouldn't support it. I'm out my money.

Will record a few minutes of home videos than says videos are copy protected and stops recording.

It doesn't work with the latest version of windows 10If you have windows 7 or an earlier version of windows 10 happy days I'm sure it will workI'm not one for writing reviews or certainly not bad mouthing products but when the software provided with a device rejects the drivers you've given to you from the supplied cd its a bad sign.I work in IT and have done for the past 20 years, I've just spent a frustrating 2 hours trying to resolve the problem in the photo before saying enough is enough and buying another product

I use with with Windows 10 and it works fine to capture old video footage from a tape based camcorder. Took a bit of tinkering to work out how to get it set up but now it is working fine. represents excellent value.

Collegata videocamera Panasonic con filmati in 16:9, con ShowBiz (programma fornito) acquisiva una porzione minimale rispetto al visibile (sulla schermata, il filmato occupava a malapena 1/6 dello spazio disponibile), e per giunta in 4:3, deformando tutto! Ho contattato Mygica, per avere spiegazioni e aiuto: il loro servizio clienti, molto efficiente, mi ha inviato nuovi driver e SW - che non trovavo per via ordinaria - e adesso funziona davvero bene, il formato è perfetto e la conversione facile, unica piccola pecca che si perde un po' di qualità passando da Hi-8 a MPEG2, però il risultato è comunque discreto.

This is a video capture device which is cheap and is going to transfer your VHS over to a pc or some sort. The quality of the recording is decent and is going to look too bad, for the price it is a decent quality. It is easy to use and overall a good buy. I would recommend this product.
