Careful they are sharp. They are made from Carbon Steel so they need to be oiled in-between usage and that's normal with these steels. Great product

Good value for your money

These chissels are excellent for the money, they came sharp out of the box and haven't had to sharpen as yet. What I would say, is the sides of the chisels are very sharp and may need dulling otherwise may cut your hand.

Sharpest and most precise chisels I ever used. I had to sharpen them before first use but impressed with quality and precision. Highly recommend for both beginners and advanced woodworkers.

Recieved these via my wishlist as a birthday present.I have a nice set of Stanley fatmax which are ideal for my work as a site carpenter but they get ruined with day to day tasks (hitting hidden screws/nails etc) so I wanted a set that I could keep for the finer work.These were recommended via a popular woodworking site on Facebook. Out of the box they are pretty sharp but I gave them a sharpen before use regardless. They feel quite light which I wasn't expecting but they are comfortable in the hand and actually if you're working them for a while you begin to appreciate the lightness. I might also mention that they are super sharp. Only been using them for a month but they are far superior to my fatmax set. My only complaint is that I would of liked a 22/24mm as an intermediate size rather than the 3 small and 1 large.A minor complaint though as you can buy the individual chisels at a decent price.100% recommended

The larger chisel was not true and required considerable efforts to both flatten the back enough and achieve a 90 degree To length edge bevel. They are very good bare. chisels overall so this was unfortunate. To be fair if it wasn’t for that they’d have got 4 or 5 stars.

Penso sia il miglior scalpello come rapporto qualità/prezzo: imbattibile per il prezzo (perchè ormai fuori mercato e sostituito dalla serie con manici chiari) e per qualità perchè costruito con le stesse lame utilizzate nelle ultime serie da Narex che di acciai non è seconda a nessuno
