Wasn't the original game has all different names on the box was smaller and priced same as original , ,would t buy it again ,wasn't how it was described. She won't play with it as she said it's not the same as last one she got,I donated it to a family centre for children ..

The appearance, the hissing, the tension! What a great laugh for kids (and adults!) of all ages!

Made my 5 Yr old Grandson jump out of his skin! We substitute the nuggets for sweets.Great fun.

The media could not be loaded. This poor snake has many issues... firstly his identity seems somewhat muddled as on the box he is simultaneously called Prank Snake Mike and Rattlesnake Jake - obviously the original packaging design has been copied and repurposed. Nowhere on the box or product page does it mention that batteries are required but upon opening I found a screwed battery compartment that needs x3 AAA batteries.Jake/Mike snake comes with a hat, some 'gold' nuggets and a 'gold' coin. No instructions on how to proceed but it's pretty obvious, you take turns to remove gold nuggets from him with a risk that he might pounce out at you. Or not. Sometimes we got to the bottom without him jumping, even though we could hear the mechanical parts buzzing a bit. This is a noisy toy - during play when turned on it makes a constant threatening hissing noise, I think it's supposed to add to the tension but it is fairly loud and actually just irritating.When he does pounce, it is quite a fun surprise, he loses his hat and then rattles his tail (complete with rattlesnake noise). My daughter found it hilarious.Unfortunately on about the third or fourth attempt at playing, Jake/Mike snake pounced with such enthusiasm that his entire head and neck shot off! Quite a shock. It transpires that the green fabric that conceals the spring is only held on to the body by a small, thin cable tie which - unlike a normal cable tie - allows the fastening to loosen as well as tighten. Too much sudden movement caused it to undo itself, leaving the hazardous spring poking out.Sadly Jake/Mike snake is now condemned to the pile of things that need fixing when I can find/remember to acquire a replacement part - in this case a small cable tie..It was briefly very fun whilst it lasted but I can't recommend this toy as it'll likely just bring swift disappointment to whomever plays with it.
