CY 90 Degree Up or Down Angled Reversible USB 3.1 Type-C Male to Female Extension Power Data Video Adapter for Laptop Phone

This adapter works, but the USB-A female port only functions when something is simultaneously plugged into the USB-C female port. Despite this limitation, it suits my current setup.

I plugged the 2.0 female end into an Anker charger. I plugged the male end into my iPad Pro. I plugged the 3.1 female end into an iFi Go Bar. Instant short. The iPad Pro protected itself and stopped charging, but the Go Bar is now completely destroyed. This is not a safe product. It is clearly using USB-C in a nonstandard, non compliant way. DO NOT BUY THIS.

one of the two ports failed. so I basicly have an overly large 90 degree adapter. where what I needed as a y adapter to charge the Meta v3 and the battery strap at the same time.

it works and it does what it needs to do.

Straight pass through USB C to USB C does not transfer data or power junk.
