Beware! I spent about $200 to have this key programmed by a LEXUS/TOYOTA authorized dealership to pair with my RX 350 and it turned out to not be fully compatible. It pairs with the door lock but not the ignition system. It was a bust and I returned the item for a refund.

We lost a key fob and needed a replacement. Still had one. Called dealer and the key fob part price was super high. Dealer said do your homework and shop online. As long as you bring us the right one, we can program for $96. Go by part number and not appearance. This one was returnable within 30 d so not too much risk. It took about 15 minutes at the dealer and worked perfectly. Recommend - call your dealer part department first and get a part number. Call the dealer service dept and find out programming fee (should be around $100). Use the part number to search Amazon. Saved around $300!

I bought this key fob as a 2nd key for my car and had it programmed at a lock shop. Because it was only a spare I did not initially use it very much. I picked it up to use one day and it unlocked my care okay, but would NOT start the car. I tried it again the next day and it started the car for me to leave, BUT would not start it for me to drive back! It unlocks and even remote starts the care, but it's hit and miss when it comes to starting the car once you get in the vehicle.I would not recommend purchasing the fob. I would go with ordering from the dealership.

Got the key on time... Feels nice like original key. Lock Smith cut and programmed the key. The Key doesn't fully work. It unlocks and locks. but the car does not detect the key. I have to hold the key by the push start button to get it to start. It doesn't always work. The lock smith tried reprogramming the key. The same thing. $500 of lock smith services and got half of a key for back up.

Be aware..... no programming instructions come with this fob. You have to research on line and will find: 1.Complex downloading instructions compatible with only Windows PC, not Apple. Many reports of being unable to complete programing even after downloading instructions. Many reports of Malware or Viruses in the download instructions. If you take it to Lexus or Toyota dealer they may not want to deal with it being a 3rd party item, not OEM, or will charge you large $$$ to program and cut the emergency key that's part of the FOB. But, it you can figure it all out you can save money over what it costs to have a dealer provide and program the Lexus brand FOB. Some reviewers report quoted $400 to have Lexus do it. Good luck!

After matching all the original equipment numbers to this aftermarket key fob, I purchased two. I then took them to a qualified locksmith to be programmed. After programming, the door lock and unlocked function however, the proximity feature did not work on either key. I had to return both key fobs.
