Great quality! As far as keeping ice it's too early to tell. Just got it and took it on a trip from Iowa to Ohio in early March. It was mostly filled with food and I put one 8 pound bag of ice on one side of the cooler; It took eight days before it was all melted. I know from experience the it makes a difference when you don't use very much ice, so having temperatures between 40 and 70 degrees doesn't task it much. However 8 pounds of ice is a drop in the bucket for a 60 quart cooler.I have another cooler of the same size in a different brand that says it will keep ice for five days; have had it for 20 years and can say it does that and then some. I plan on testing it with my old one when we start seeing 90+ degrees. Hopefully Amazon will let me do a follow-up. I put a lot of time and thought into this before buying and would have loved to see something like that before I purchased it.Once again, great quality and I'm very pleased.

Love it! Keeps ice cold for multiple days at a time in the Miami, FL intense heat. Great alternative to Yeti or Ninja.

Great Cooler! Keeps things frosty for 2-3 days on a load of ice

This cooler checks most of the boxes for me. It's keeps things cold for a long time. Came with a divider that doubles as a cutting board and a basket. Has a bottle opener in a convenient place. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with wheels and hard handle. It's a good size though, seems very durable, and it's about the right asking price comparatively to alot of other coolers.

Really keeps things cold and/or frozen. We use it for traveling. Probably not stressing it with extended use as mostly we just need it to keep our foods cold for a days travel. Works great for how we use it. It is heavy for an older person like me but usually have the wife grab one side.

This ice chest cooler is the best I've ever owned. It holds ice very well in the Louisiana tropical heat. The trick is to put really cold ice in to start with. The ice from those ice maker vending machines is barely below freezing temp. If you can, put in a couple of frozen jugs of ice at below 0* F degrees to cool the inside of the cooler down.The snap down latches seal the box tightly and the large sturdy threaded drain plug with a rubber gasket will not accidently leak or come out.It is not a cheap box like you buy at Dollar General but costs less than some other brands that are no better. Highly recommended.Added: We just got back from Colorado, a 2000 mile round trip. Before we left I put in two frozen 1 gallon containers and we added bag ice along the way. The cooler was opened every day for drinks and food. When we got home there was some of the original ice still frozen. It will hold ice and will not leak with the threaded drain plug type provided.

I have a larger Brand Y which does an admirable job at keeping frozen processed game preserved for 2-day average trips. I purchased this hard cooler as a backup but decided to give it a try recently on an Axis deer. I have about 20 lbs of freezer packets which I used to keep the deboned meat cold for my two day return. Remarkably, after 6 days before harvesting the deer the freezer packets remained frozen solid! I refroze my packets the night before the final trip home just to be sure and I arrive with the freezer packets frozen solid and the deer meat nice and cold!
