I bought an antique armoire at a flea market. It did not come with the key. I ordered these skeleton keys, not expecting much, and after trying a few different keys, I heard the click of the lock! It worked! I went through my home, and found two other pieces of furniture with antique locks, and no key. No joke, I was able to find a key to fit EACH ONE! I'm so pleased! Fantastic product. PLUS! They are all cool shapes and sizes, so they look nice if left in the lock.

Finally found the key to my grandfather’s old fold down desk and drawers. Has to be 1920’s build or earlier. It was in this set, which basically comes down to the thickness of the tube portion of the key, hole size on the end, and placement/size of the paddle. If any one of these is too far off…they won’t work. If perhaps not the a perfect fit, close enough to work well seems very likely to be among this set.

I was amazed at how many keys there were and also the additional items like a large key ring and lots of small rings. I did eventually find a key that opened my old cabinet. It works but not too well in locking the cabinet again. However, because I found one that opened the cabinet I did not return this set for another. This was great value for the money. And fast delivery too. I recently moved and lost the original. This was a good way of replacing it but don’t expect a genuine antique.

We recently bought a 1904 home with beautiful old doors but no keys. We have teens so really needed them to be able lock their doors. We found one key that worked for the bedrooms and another for the bathroom. A much better fix than having to install new locks for all the doors.

I was skeptical, especially since Amazon floats a warning that this product is "frequently returned," but more than one of these keys opened my random thrift-store splendid antique desk right up and now I can use the main drawer again. amazing and totally worth it.

These keys are junk. The metal they are made of is so soft. Two of the keys actually fit old pieces of furniture but they broke on the first try. A total waste of money.
