So, we've been teaching my 7-year-old the recorder as an intro to music. My father was a music professor and this was his recommendation to get started. My mother, who was a concert flutist, and my music professor father mutually agreed that the tuning of this recorder was superior to their quite pricey professional recorders.The recorder is an amusing color-- I got the “green” one but it's much more like a “Miami” color-- an aqua blue.I could not be more impressed with this product.
