Great Book for Improving Productivity!
In a world where it’s very easy to get caught up being reactive, I used to find it impossible to be proactive. In sales, this is not good.I had to read this book as a part of a program that I’m in at work, and it has been life changing! I haven’t gotten around to implementing my business plan by using index cards, but I have learned how to prioritize my tasks more efficiently so that I am able to make time to be proactive. This alone made the book worth it!Also, I love that it is short and doesn’t include fluff. I was very glad it was a quick read.

A must-read for entrepreneurs, salespeople and sales managers
This book is a must-read for entrepreneurs, salespeople and sales managers. It is universal in its approach and provides the reader a proven and effective way to plan and build their business. It’s a quick read (100 pages) and it’s laid out in a way that makes it easy to reference. Frequently when reading, the light bulb went off. Many times it was for items that I might have inherently known but that I had not realized the relevant to my business and how to incorporate into my business plan.I have incorporated the philosophy and processes that Margolis lays out with tremendous results. My sales production has improved dramatically. I also have more time. It has helped me be much more effective. I would not have thought such a big change in results was possible and if I could give the book six stars, I would.

Almost 5 stars just a little short in the how to use the index cards to apply to his Pillar System
I purchased and read this because I’m researching the book I’m writing. It was okay but doesn’t really go into any detail about using index cards, a little to vague for my taste. i was hoping for more since it is in the title. I did take away some ideas on how to use his “Pillar System” and simplify my business. And they worked. For that I give him 5 stars.

Simple and Impactful ideas
I tore through the book in just a few days. Brian’s message strives for simplicity and clarity in each chapter. He lays a step by step framework that professionals in any industry can follow fo drive growth and results by applying focus management to all activities.I have utilized some of Brian’s teaching previously. This is a great compilation of his best ideas. I will definitely strive to introduce some of his additional ideas into my weekly routine.

A practical approach for holding yourself accountable for doing the things you know will advance your business
Some useful insights but Margolis seems intent on inventing his own nomenclature, perhaps for branding purposes, he would be better served to use existing well established terms. He does offer a practical approach for holding yourself accountable for doing the things you know will advance your business: there is a good 8-12 article trapped in this e-book that's worth the $8 Kindle price. The other 100 pages are somewhat extraneous.
