Don’t bother looking for a better tester. This one works great once you watch the YouTube tutorial. Comes with Chinese display menu, but it can be set to English in the settings menu. Again Watch the YouTube video. Once you get the hang it, you’ll wonder the other similar testers cost more. Video is for DTL150.

Pretty nice little unit, have not fully tested but does seem to provide what it says it does. CC works and is oddly accurate on draw and voltage. Cutout voltage works well. Fan auto runs as needed. If I had to pick one thing could be improved on, and this is really picking hard, would be making "clear cumulative" easier to access. It's still only a few clicks to do it from the settings menu though. If I needed another I'd not hesitate to purchase this same unit again. On a side note, This was the best boxing/packaging I've seen out of china. Overall very happy, cannot speak to duration it'll run for but so far so good.

Nicely packaged with the US power adapter however it did not have any leads although it did come with a battery temp lead. It was no big deal for the leads as they typically are cheaply done with thin wire and light duty clips so I made a set with some heavy duty battery clamps. The 150W 20A Lithium Battery Capacity tester works great, after watching a few youtube vids on how to navigate the menus and change the language to english by holding down the on button for 3 sec. It did not come with a user manual but is pretty easy to navigate. The OPP shuts it down at just little over 150 watts for a sec or two, or between 12-13 amps on a 12v LifePO4 100Ah battery. So the OPP works well as it should and I would assume the other built in protections work as well although I have not hit those limits yet. The screen is nice and bright however the time and temp at the very top of the screen is a littler difficult to read from a distance, it may just be the glasses I wear. There are 2 temp sensors 1 is a external wire included the other is built on the board and the readings are realtime and accurate, I have other temps sensors for my batteries to compare with. I ran a full test over night on a 100Ah battery 10hrs 21min 2sec 103.496ah. There is a protective film on the screen that has some lines on it that I did not remove yet. For the money this is an excellent peace of test equipment and great for discharging your batteries in a controlled environment I highly recommend buying 1 and checking it out I may order another just to have a spare.

UPDATE:Had an opportunity to use constant resistance mode to test some PTC fuses. It worked exactly like it should. There is no reason to purchase a more expensive device, as this delivers great performance and thermal characteristics.I recommend purchasing this product before the cost increases due to demand.I found this load very easy to use and set up, even without a manual. It's quite amazing the capabilities of having different options of constant resistance constant current constant power etc.The cooling capability is quite good and don't expect any type of failure with the FET due to overpowering as it has a multitude of protection included to prevent damage.I believe this device ranks just as good if not better than some of the more expensive devices available on Amazon I would definitely recommend this product.A QR code on the fan hub is a link to a somewhat useful manual.

My unit did not come with any instructions for setup. The display is in Chinese and I would like it to be in English. Online video shows the instructions in the box. Amazon doesn’t have access to it. I will be happy to update this review if I can find any more information.

This thing is great. I've been using it for load testing all sorts of boost/buck converters, battery capacities and charger power ratings. Super useful for anyone that works with power electronics.I love that it can be calibrated and I love even more that it was so super close to perfect calibration from the factory. Something like a few hundredth of a volt off at 30v. Hardly anything.I feel like these can be hit or miss, but mine is definitely a hit. I'm super happy with it.

Upon receiving the load I trying powering it up and the display was dark. The included AC adapter was not working. I found one of my own and got the load to work.The quality of the solder joints is poor, some cold joints, others with too much or too little solder. The solder resin residue was also not cleaned off the circuit board.My unit appeared to have a small crack in the display.Some sort of instructions would be helpful, if only to tell one to scan the QR code on the fan to fin the manual.Scrolling through the menu structures and making changes is tedious but it works.The display shows a wealth of info and the DC voltage agreed with my other multimeters.This is a wonderful tool with quality issues. I'm returning mine to see if another unit has a functioning AC adapter and a display that is not cracked.An improvement would be to provide a cover for the back of the unit to prevent accidental short circuits to the back of the circuit board.

This was the cheapest option so I went for it, so far works as it should. Display is nice and clear. Love it!
