Amazon Basics Carrying Case for Nintendo Switch

I got this case on discount for Prime Day and I couldn't be happier with it. When I was ordering it I wasn't too sure about the color (I got the yellow one), which on the website looks like pea soup, or baby spit up color. I ended up going with the yellow one mostly because it was heavily discounted that day. I was surprised when I got it because the color is not really pea soup, its more of a flourescent yellow and actually looks alot better (in my opinion) than it did on the website pictures. Anywho, the Switch fits snugly inside (not too tight, not too loose). Theres a flappy flap that you can use to store gamecards or as a kickstand, and a storage space for small stuff like headphones. The space is small, it wont fit much. I put in the two wrist straps for the joycons and a pair of headphones and i don't really feel it could hold much more.As far as the build on this thing, well the stitch job is not the best stitch job ive seen, but i definitely think it will hold. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look shabby or flimsy, but it doesnt look near as durable as that other switch case that goes for about twice the price of this one. In my case, money talks, and this one was significantly less expense. After overextending myself by buying a switch when i wasnt planning to, this was definitely the way to go. Anyway, I like it. Five stars.UPDATE: The other day I tried adding two more joycons to the case in the provided pouch, for some Mario Karting at a friend's house. I'm happy to report that the pouch fit everything. Its a small pouch, and it was a little tight, but everything fit (2 extra joycons, 4 wrist straps, and a pair of headphone). There was some bulging, but it honestly didnt seem like it was putting much pressure on anything inside, the case is flexible enough to allow for extra storage, but sturdy enough to keep the contents safe. I wouldn't recommend ALWAYS having the extra joycons in there tho, if you ALWAYS will be toting around 4 joycon controllers then maybe spring for a bigger case. This one is designed for just the switch, doesnt take up too much space, but can resolve for days when you do need to carry a bit more. I'm liking this thing more every day!

The case is a great case for the Switch, it's protective, the Switch fits very well, so well that you have to give some effort to get it out, which I think is perfect for protecting the Switch, the game storage part is great, holds the games tightly, there are 12 game slots, the storage area for cables or a cleaning cloth, or whatever else, is great, the game holder part protects the screen and can be unfolded to use as a holder for the Switch itself, if like me you don't think the kickstand on the actual console isn't angled up enough, the angle is much better when you use the case to hold it up. The one and only problem with the case, is an incredibly small problem that is super easy to fix in whatever way you want, is that the top and bottom of the case are impossible to tell apart, if the Switch is strapped in, it shouldn't be any problem if you open it upside down, but I wasn't willing to risk it, so I just found some super old Guitar Hero stickers, and found a cool looking eagle sticker, and put it on the top side, so I can tell the difference between the top and the bottom of the case, but it's such a tiny problem that is so easy to fix, that it doesn't change how great the case is at all. Definitely recommend this case.

Nothing fancy but it holds the switch, makes it easy to transport, and stores all the games. It does everything I want and need it to do. I’ve had it for about 4 years now and it is still in really good condition with lots of use

The Switch fits very snug into the case (assuming you have the joycons attached)Protection wise, the case has a soft shell similar to what you find for ear bud cases. It's not meant to sustain drops from high altitudes or being toss across the room; rather it's for protection while in your backpack or luggage when things are being shuffled and banged around during transit.Zipper is very sturdy. No snags when zipping and unzipping. zipper handle is very ergonomic.Game holder slot I'm not a fan of. A lot of cases (like Zelda BOW case that came with special edition) adopt this design, but I don't like it as it may attract lint when taking the game cartridge in and out. I tend to only use this option when in a rush, otherwise I use a plastic box case like the  HORI Game Card Case 24 for Nintendo Switch Officially Licensed by Nintendo  . When I do use it, I always blow on the exposed chip, NES cartridge style so no foreign object gets into the consoleThe stand is a nice option. Way better than using the built in kickstand on the switch as that feels very flimsy. The build in stand for the case is also good if you don't trust the surface you put it on depending if it's dirty and/or sticky. I wouldn't follow the stock photos suggestion of how to use the kickstand as it breaks a immersion a bit. The way I put it (see attached photos) seems more plausible. It does break immersion on the sides but it's way better than having to see the whole case flap in front of you. If you want a good stand for your Switch i'd get  Cell Phone Stand, Adjustable Tablet Stand, Universal Dual Foldable iPhone Stand Multi Angle phone Holder for Switch, iPad,Samsung, Nexus, iPhone X, Other Tablets (4-12 inch) -Silver Accessory pouch is nice. Very good organization tool for having all your Nintendo Switch accessories (extra joy cons, ear buds, charging cable, etc) in a convenient locationProduct placement: Amazon Basics logo is very pronounced on one side. If you're ashamed of it like the stock photos; you can flip it over I guess, as the backside is blankOverall, don't expect military grade protection from this case. It's a great organization tool and can be used as a kickstand if you find the built in kickstand flimsy or don't have a extra stand of your own

One day my nephew wasn't home and I was trying to gather the switch from his room to play in the TV room. I found everything but the games. When he got home, I asked him where it was and he said the games are in an empty tissue box to which he added a handle made out of tape so he can transport his controllers and games between his house and grandmas. I said to him, points for creativity but come on man, there must be something out there for this problem. My first hit was this case, we ordered it to his place. A day later I get a call from him thanking me profusely and telling me he loves me. Great quality. Stores everything snuggly and provides adequate protection. Made me the coolest uncle.

Pedí el color neon por ser la opción mas barata. En general está muy bueno la forma y calidad de la funda. Si es cierto que en el interior queda muy justo, cuando los Joycons esta puestos, pero en mi caso no es problema, por que no estoy usando protección adicional. Me gusta que se puede usar como quickstand, ademas de los espacios para poner los cartuchos.Si lo recomiendo, pero en otro color

Searched for a while for a decent hard case with storage in the lid, room for games and good protection. This one was great value and does exactly what I needed. Good quality, not rock solid but hard enough to protect my switch in a rucksack or similar when out and about.
