I love this book!!! I have created several mind maps for fun and practice. Then I used during work meetings. Absolutely one of the clearest and easiest ways to take notes, think, and remember details. This book is now in my permanent, professional library.

And it allows me to create endlessly and easily. Ideas and requirements just pop-up! This book, in an easy way, just lets you understand the main concepts and refine them along the time. Definitely a reference to come back for refreshment of ideas!

The idea can be passed in a moment. The rest of the book is examples and exercises to help you master it. I got frustrated by my software, so will go back to doing this by hand to master it. Though some of the maps he calls out as exemplars are baffling to me. I’m giving it 4*’s until I practice.

There is no doubt that mind mapping is a very useful tool, and the book did teach me a few things. For example, I realized that all this time I was creating spider diagrams and not mind maps. I learned about the importance of uaing color and imagery, and it made perfect sense to me. However, I think the book could have been made much shorter, and I would have liked it more for it. There really was no need for all those tedious testimonials about the effectiveness of the method and how mind mapping can solve practically everything that is wrong with the world. I actually started skipping them at some point. But filter those out, and you have a good useful book.

I love this idea and have begun incorating mind maps into my routine. I bought his version for kids for my 10 year old daughter.

Before GPS devices and app's, in order to drive from one place to another, we used to rely on gold out maps, a which took up an incredible amount of space. Men never asked others for diretions!This book as well as Mr. Buzan's other titles on Mind Mapping, will allow you to find your way to\through any project, event, career, and mostly, yourself!

This is a great way for visual people to take notes, and for analytical people to think differently. I only wish it wasn't so wordy.

I have just started reading this book and so far I am impressed. I was looking for a way to plot my short stories and believe Mind Mapping may be a good tool for me.

Good book all around very clear... Well made

The whole technique fits into 5 pages max. The rest feels like an overly elaborate and not very interesting sales pitch. Mind mapping is and convenient and I like it a lot but you quite literally don't have to pay a penny to learn it. Google any article on it and you'll get enough to get you started.
