Vespera II an improvement overall
I've owned and used the Vespera Classic for years before getting the Vespera II. The classic had a much longer battery life and a shorter acquisition interval. The Vespera II has a shorter battery life and a longer acquisition time. You will need a battery pack for all night sessions but the new usb C connector makes this easy. The images appear to be much more detailed than the classic probably due to the newer sensor.

Did not come with tripod or charging cable
Basically useless out of the box. Missing the tripod and charging cable. Shipping package was not even protected. Looks like it was a used or returned unit, no documentation came with the product.

Wow. Shocking.
I have an Astro converted canon camera with a star tracker. It’s always a lot of effort to take pics.I cannot express how easy and amazing this is. My friends thought the pictures were from the internet. These pictures were outside of a medium city on a night with a 3/4 moon and then with a nearly full moon (Orion nebula image).Only complaint is the ridiculous pricing of the filters. Absolutely ridiculous filter pricing. Only proprietary filters fit.I will update this with more reviews. I am headed to Utah this weekend. Pumped.

Excellent Update to the Original
After using the original Vespera for a while, I decided to get the Vespera II. I'm glad I did because the improvement is significant. Both sides of the photo contain the same number of pixels from original images. The left side of the photo was shot with the Vespera I for 20 minutes of exposure and the right side with Vespera II for 5 minutes! Need I say more?

No tripod!
Totally misleading! There is NO tripod. You are just getting a pod and no cable to plug it in or tripod. Who sells a smart telescope like this??? Pictures are misleading. Seestar for $500 has a case a charger and a telescope and same quality imagery.
