update: now that I got it to work I love this robot-cube scramble-solve setup. From time to time during the day I would turn on the cube station app and connect the cube and the robot, scramble the cube, solve it and place the cube back into the robot, repeat this a few times until I am satiated and then I just exit the APP letting the cube and robot turn themselves off. It is my new fidget Rubik's cube station. Before buying this whole Gan Robot Cube solving, I had dozens of cubes lying around and I would scramble them all and then one by one I would solve them while watching TV (sometimes my solves would be completely fuddled because I wasn't concentrating). BUT NOW I only have one cube and one robot and as soon as I solve the cube, it goes back into the robot for a scrambling. I have yet to find the function within the app that allows me to scramble, time me for the solve and re-scramble again but the app is too aggravating for me to search for this feature. I will stumble upon it one day or perhaps not and I'll just use the device list to connect both robot and cube, then scramble, then solve without timer, then insert cube into robot for another scramble. Very satisfied with my purchase. Very dis-satisfied with the APP though, but I tried the cube solve once and it was very very nice with the arrows, but to me it is completely useless because it doesn't teach you the algorithm and only guides you blindly through the solve and teaches you nothing. Nevertheless Great Robot, great cube, bad app.Original Review when angry: It is very difficult and probably impossible to create a new user account. Clicking on FB to sign in gave an error message saying the FB app was not available. Creating a new account was by accident on my iPhone but once created I was able to sign in on my Android phone. Mixed Chinese messages along with Chinese throughout made the app an infuriating app. However once your account is created and once you figure it all out by stabbing everything and anything on the screen, you are good to go. First of all you need to connect both your Cube and your robot. Selecting your robot then selecting the robot solve (the second button below instructions) you can then solve or random scramble. DO NOT LEAVE a solved cube in the robot arms when connecting because it will willy nilly scramble a solved cube and now when you connect your cube it is no longer solved and you cannot sync it solved. You have to solve the cube now then sync it . The whole system is written probably by first graders as everything is infuriating to use. Lastly after placing the cube into the robot arms you need to twist the four arms clockwise to lock the cube in place. Once you have locked your cube into the robot arms, everything works perfectly except you need to sync the cube in the solve position when connecting. I don't know. I mean I think the cube should be a lot smarter than having to sync it every time. Anyways, once you figure it all out... took me 3 hours to just get the basics down like insert cube, lock cube, random scramble. Take out cube and solve. Sync cube. Put cube back into robot arms and scramble again. No idea how to use anything else. Will watch some YouTube to figure it all out.

All I wanted was a machine that would quickly shuffle a Rubik's cube, but this machine is more bells and whistles than machine and half the bells are broken.Highlights:- Requires a poorly coded, poorly localized app that makes it difficult for users to log in outside of China. Why do you need me to make an account? Why do you want to know my location? They realize this is for a Rubik's cube assessory, right?-Once you do figure out how to get in, get ready for an adventure. Finding the place where you pair with the machine feels like finding Waldo. The UI is trash. The app is clearly intended for some other product, and the functionality of this machine has been tacked on.- Here's the best part: The machine requires a very specific 'Smart' cube to operate that runs an additional $30-$60. Why do you need a specific Rubik's cube? I don't know, but it won't work without it. Won't even scramble the cube, because apparently, it needs to know the sides to randomly mix it up.Literally all I wanted was a machine with one button. You press the button. It shuffles the cube. That's it. No app required.

The media could not be loaded.  First thing folks need to know is that this robot only works with select GAN cubes which must be purchased separately. I have a 356i (version 2) which is what is usually advertised with the robot. I got this robot because I was really tired of scrambling my cube after every solve... I just wanted to solve, solve, solve, and work on shortcuts for solving. So for me this cube is exactly what I was looking for. This robot will solve the 356i cube as well. My attached video shows how easy it is to use. The video will show the cube being loaded, then a scramble, and then shows me puting the cube back in to be auto-solved. It is well built and allows easy loading of the cube. It doesn't shake the table while being used and doesn't move around either. The app takes a while to get used to.... it really needs an upgrade. However, a few online videos later I had the app features figured out. One side tip.... when you connect the robot each time (when the app opens) don't have the cube in the robot yet. It will rotate itself in a self check a few times and it will cause your cube to be out of sync with the system if it is in the robot when this occurs. The app will also allow you to do a random scramble or select a starting point scramble (how you want it scrambled) for working on skills, such as orienting the last layer, etc. This is handy for those learning the cube or trying to improve their speed. Despite the app issues (it really needs to be rebuilt) I would still recommend this product.

The app is a bit tricky, and downloads updates very, very slowly. But once you figure it out, it’s nice to be able to put the cube into a starting position so I can practice the same algorithm over and over quickly. It’s mainly focused on the beginner and CFOP solving styles, but also has Roux.I had to fiddle with the app to get it to have the cube in my preferred orientation (“customized” algorithms) but now it’s great.

Très bon robot quand on sait le faire fonctionner car notice en chinois et anglais.

Man muss sehr aufpassen beim einsetzen, sonst funktioniert das drehen nicht richtig und man muss den Würfel danach sofort reseten. Sonst aber wirklich super

Man sollte klar deklarieren, dass der Würfel nicht mit enthalten ist!!! Für den Preis rechnet man mit einem kompletten Inhalt.
