I’m on my second bottle now and I will say I have noticed a difference in the coloration of my armpits. I used to struggle with really dark armpits and would get rough patches of skin from using wrong types of deodorant and being allergic to it. I was pretty insecure about wearing tank tops and what not because of how they looked and would avoid lifting my arms. I stopped using the deodorants that were causing the rashes but was still struggling with discoloration/finding a deodorant that can withstand my hyperhidrosis. I’ve tried A LOT of deodorants and so far the Shea Moisture brand has stood out to me.For this deodorant specifically, I have definitely noticed a change in the color of my armpits like I said. I have been using the deodorant for roughly 2 months now. They are more even tone now and I don’t see any darkness or rashes. It smells very nice and light, almost like fresh laundry or cotton to me. Even if I sweat throughout the day I don’t notice any b.o so even the formula is also effective against smells. Now I do have hyperhidrosis which means I sweat more than the average person, however I say this deodorant does hold up pretty well against my sweat. For everything it does I definitely think it’s reasonably priced and I will be sticking with this deodorant for now on. I would love to see this formula but in a coconut scent as thats just my preference. Only thing I will say that I don’t like about it is I can feel residue left over while taking a shower. It comes off easily with exfoliation but besides that it’s a great deodorant I would recommend this to anyone looking to even their skin tone. Their other deodorants work great too.

I love this stuff!! I was so insecure about my underarms..this is one of the first products that has shown results. My armpits are lighter and it prevents “must” lol.

I swore after the first use I could see a difference but I can definitely see one now! I don’t think it last 48 hours because I went less than that and the smell wore off in my opinion but I definitely will be purchasing it again very soon!!!

So the first time I got this product the deodorant was white and worked perfectly! It genuinely lightened my armpits in ways I’ve never had before. The problem was the second time I ordered it the deodorant was not white it was kinda brownish and it gave me a really bad chemical rash. At first I thought it was from me trying my boyfriend’s deodorant for two days while I waited for the even tone to arrive. But I’m realizing the reaction wasn’t bad until I started using the second batch which wasn’t white. I ordered two of the hibiscus deodorant just because I lost my two even tone deodorants (thank god) and it was the first time in two months since I bought the second even tone that my armpits don’t hurt from putting on deodorant. Common denominator? The color of the deodorant. If the deodorant is any color but white throw it away it’s defective. I would give it 5 stars but shea moisture needs to work on their quality control and make sure there’s consistency in their batches.
