Works just fine.
The lead is short but that is what I wanted. USB A is not the best connection anymore but it is all I have to work with and this hub is very useful. Good value. Drives my speakers and charges my phone happily.

Serves its purpose
Meant to be for laptops, used it for my pc and the cable is a tad short but I guess it’s not intended for that. Besides that, it serves its purpose

Transfers data
I bought this as I thought it was a USB extender. It isn't as such, it's a data transfer stick. You can't add extra items like a mouse or keyboard. My mistake. Does a good job though.

Yay! It works!...
...Inc with an external hard drive which fails with another hub I have (presumably because not enough power) - which I've only just discovered I can actually use, sometime after seller kindly refunded me when I said I'd bought c usb-c device by mistake.

Disconnects spontaneously
After around a month it would disconnect suddenly and would only work if I unplugged it and then plugged it in again . Not recommended

Decent USB 2.0 Hub
For whoever buys this be aware this is an USB 2.0 HUB, so expect sluggish speeds for data transfer. You don't buy this for data transfer, and even less so for charging devices. What you buy this for is connecting wireless peripherals, where you actually need the USB 2.0 connection over the 3.0 one. The USB 3.0 port, while it is vastly superior in transfer speeds, it is know for interference with wireless devices, so that's where the need for a USB 2.0 hub comes in.For data transfer and charging devices there are USB 3.0 hubs which will do that job much better. For connecting wireless mice and keyboards, you will need this hub which is USB 2.0.
