I am a 72-year old woman. For about 18 months I have had severe sciatica. It's so bad I've been classified as "permanently disabled" and some days I have trouble walking even with a walker. Because my kidneys are in bad shape, my pain meds are not very helpful and are limited to Tylenol with a Tramadol thrown in every now and then. This is probably the 5th time I've tried a lumbar support pillow and although I wasn't expecting much, I was desperate.I bought the first one of these QUTOOL pillows for the car because that's the hardest to recover from. It made a marginal difference--but still it was a difference. The next day I bought a second one for the recliner, because let's face it, at this point I can't do much other then sit down or lie down. Well, when I woke up this morning, I was not in pain. 2 days with these things and, I kid you not, I woke up in bed without pain. This is not a small thing.That's not to say I could walk without pain. I would say the pain when I walked (with a walker) was decreased by about 20% -- significant. So I just bought two more of them.Now I'll have one for every chair I sit in. Since they're memory foam, I figure each chair will probably configure a bit differently. I can't wait to get them and see how I feel in a week. Maybe I'll be able to get by with just using a cane sometimes. Wouldn't that be something. Thanks QUTOOL guys.

Great product and great support. Great product - well made - it was just too thick for my office chair - pushed too far forward. A bigger person would like it because it does compress. Support and curvature was great though - returned.

This thing is fantastic!! I bought it to use in my car, but put it in my recliner to check it out, and I don't want to move it!! The support is THAT GOOD!!! My back does not hurt when driving to run short errands, but last weekend, I took a road trip (first time since 2019), and I was in pain most of the way. I know without a doubt, this cushion is going to prevent that!! HEY FELLOW SENIORS: When you've sat for a couple of hours and stand up, do you stoop over a bit and have to "walk it off" because your lower back hurts? Well, this cushion PREVENTS that!! When I get up from my chair now, I stand up straight and walk like I'm 30 years younger!!! I have told family & friends about this, and ordered one for my son (who drives his company vehicle 100+ miles/day) and my older brother, who sits most of the day (he loves it, too).

Material is comfortable but support is too much/too thick. Felt like it was pushing me out of my seat.

I have a desk job and moved to a new cube with a different chair. I was starting to have back pain when i would get up. This comes vacuum packed, so less packaging which i always appreciate. It returned to its shape very quickly once opened, and i did not notice any strong odor. The straps are elastic and adjustable, so you can position it wherever it works best and slide it around a bit if any fine tuning is needed. It stays in place once you clip it into place. It is firm with some give to it, so it really supports the low and mid-back. it has helped tremendously. A great price, i am happy with it!

This pillow has been a great comfort to my aching back. I've had back problems my entire life, and recently the pain flared up again. I had used a lumbar support pillow much like this one years and years ago, which I got from my chiropractor but it was lost in a move, and then I forgot about it and have been using a regular pillow for some support in my easy chair. I finally decided to look into a real lumbar pillow again and this one works very well. It provides support and hugs the curves of my spine just right. I'm female, 5'6" and the size is great for me. I might order a second one to put on my dining room chair so I don't have to move this around when I go to a different room and chair.

I would have given this 5 stars, but it is a little stiff, which I need, but I also could use some flexibility to conform more to my back. It takes a little time to get used to it. I appreciate the firmness of this product, which is important to me; however, I believe it could benefit from a bit more flexibility to better conform to my back. It does take some time to adjust to, but with a few improvements, it could be even more comfortable.
