Great fit, looks factory.
We bought this without heeding the warning about the year. I have a 2019 RAM and this does not fit the mirrors, nor should it. Completely my fault on thinking it might. We did however, try these on a friend's 2012 truck and it worked really well. He already had mirror extensions for pulling a 5th wheel trailer, but we wanted to see how these worked before buying a set for the year of my truck. They went on easy, when you put the top on first. I thought it might scratch the backing, but it did not. There is adhesive, but we did not use it since it was only temporary. The bottom lip has 2 clips that are rubber coated and held itself to the mirror very well. The additional extended mirror is adjustable and really looked like it was part of the factory mirror. We will definitely look to get a set for 2019+ RAMs.

They work but not for everyday towing
These snap over your existing mirror and they do that well. They wiggle a bit when you drive and the mirrors are not "Mirrors", they are plastic. I needed a way to be able to see behind me pulling a long trailer on occasion, for that purpose they work. They click on and are easy to remove. If you are towing often, you will probably want to get actual tow mirrors but for occasional use, these work fine.

Awesome! good fit and they work well
These bad boys are awesome they slip right over the factory mirrors and add an additional 4 or 5 inches of length to them with another tow mirror right where it needs to be on the out side of the factory mirror. The fact that I can take them off and put them on is where these are a real winner for me. The added mirror is small but just large enough to be useful when you are towing a trailer with your truck. I have a 2018 Ram 1500 and these slipped right on and off as they should. If you wish to have these installed more perinate they have foam tape inside the housing that will adhere to the factory housing but, I chose not to have them on all the time. My set did not arrive with any directions and frankly they'll only go on one way and only on one side so you really can't get them confused. I tested these out and they fit tight enough without the adhesive tape that they didn't vibrate and the extra mirror was clear and easy to adjust (manually). Overall yeah these are really cool and very helpful, I cannot believe I haven't purchased them before now they make that much difference to me. I don't think you will be disappointed with purchasing a set.

Do not fit a 2018 RAM 1500
These simply don't fit a 2018 RAM 1500 with factory mirrors. They are so tight that you'd have to break them to get them on.

Fit perfectly...and tight! Slight issue with power folding mirrors.
The media could not be loaded. I tow a boat during fishing season, and occasionally, a camper or utility trailer. I used to have a pair of "strap on" towing mirrors that always shook and vibrated, no matter how tightly strapped. These fit TIGHT and securely. The mirrors are adjustable to find the sweet spot to see your towed vehicle. The only reason I can't rate them 5 stars is that the clips that go over the bottom of the mirror protrude a bit too far and come in contact with my truck door when I use the power folding feature. (See video.) They still fold in...just not all the way in. I will use a cut off tool or file to take off some of the plastic and see if it helps them to fold completely, and will update this review if necessary. All in all, well made and fit great...just a bit too much plastic sticking out at the bottom clips. More to come.... EDIT: Used an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel and removed 1/4" of plastic across the closest bottom clip (the one that was contacting the window trim, causing it not to fold fully. Then removed another 1/4" along the last 2 inches closest to the vehicle. Used a razor knife to clean up any burrs. Now the mirrors fold in completely with no body contact. I love the way these additional mirrors give me a view behind my truck and help eliminate my blind spots.

There when you need it, removable when you don't - give yourself every advantage
Towing anything, especially for amateurs or even the first timer is a high stress and scary affair. You're constantly wondering about everything, did you cut your turn too tight, is there someone a little behind the blind spot, can I make this maneuver, did I just clip that little old lay in her Fiat with my trailer? Don't stress... use a set of extra eyes like these. Clip them on when you need them, pop them off when you don't. You can use those little stick-on fish-eye mirrors, sure - but using something like this not only gives you a better, more commanding view, but it also clues in others that you gave enough of a crap to want to be safe. Love the fact that you get to retain your in-mirror turn signals and puddle lights as well - very considerate touch.

Was unable to get both extensions in place
My first concern occurred when I opened the box and a strong smell of marijuana came wafting out. I actually put the package outside in my garage for a couple of days to air out before I approached the mirrors again.I have a 2017 RAM 1500 pickup with the standard mirrors. I was able to get the mirror extension on the driver's side, but was not able to get the passenger extension to click into place. I ended up taking it off rather than risk scratching my mirror or breaking the extension.I adjusted the driver extension so that it allowed me to see more than I could with my standard mirror. It did the job, but I ended up removing it because my truck looked stupid with only one extension.
