A good reference tool
The book claims to be all you need to speak French, but without hearing the words, it is very difficult to know what they should sound like. The phonetic pronunciation guides are helpful, but not sufficient to ensure that I'm making the correct sounds. I'm hoping that the audiobook will fill in this missing piece for me. The grammar explanations are helpful, and because I'm a visual learner, the charts are good too. But having taught another world language for many years using many different techniques, I would call this a grammar-based approach with a sprinkling of dialogues and stories that give some useful context. But I differ with the claim in the introduction that this is the "right" way to learn. It is good way to learn reading and writing, but it needs to be used in conjunction with some other resource that provides the opportunity to develop listening and speaking skills. Perhaps the audiobook will be just that. Writing a review was required in order to download it, so you're getting my take on just the book so far!

French refresh
I am only about 20 pages in but the book is a great refresher for someone who only took French until Grade 10. I am hoping to relearn and expand to use with my career.

Looks fairly comprehensive to get to some sort of Intermediate stage
Cards on the table - I have just started on Day 1 of this book. (N.B. It contains 678 pages not the 3oo and something listed in the review. So this book aims to get beginners speaking French to a basic level in 30 days - and to an intermediate level in a further 30 days - so in simplistic terms you need to be prepared to read and assimilate 10 to 11 pages per day. So be ready to do some serious work.Having skipped through the book the content looks good - but only time will tell if that translates into a good 'teaching' manual.Looking forward to the journey.

Review
I like the 5 in 1 Book that comes with audio, you can't learn a language by reading a book.

Tightly formatted and the flow for learning slower
Very informative

This book is everything you need for learning French
I would like to say this book is AMAZING because it teach you everything you need to know. For example it talks about cultural tip so if you are going to France you don’t make a mistake by talking about something France people don’t like to talk about.
