Awesome unit for the price
The media could not be loaded. I am a musician in pro audio I have multiple Apollo’s/audio interfaces and I needed something to send the audio to my iphone 15 for streaming on YT, TikTok etc. This unit does everything as advertised however the charging only works on the iPhone 15 if you have the power source plugged in to the interface first then you plug the interface in to your phone. Until I did this the unit would not pass a charge to the phone.

No charge/power lights?
Poor design. My biggest complaint is not having a way to determine the battery/charge level. The blue power indicator light is hidden inside the unit, and very hard to see to when/if it is powered on. If it had visible charge level/ indicator lights, I would give it a higher rating. Other than that, the unit usually works fine. I just don’t know what a full charge is, nor how long a full charge lasts.

I'll explain how this works (it's great!)
The media could not be loaded. First, let me say this thing is awesome. I had just gone into one of those big box stores a month or two ago looking for something exactly like this. Basically what you need for this to be useful is an app (or software) on your phone/tablet/computer that allows you to record multiple different instruments. For example, I have an app on my Android phone called J4T. It's a simple four-track recorder. I can use it to record up to four different instruments, one at a time, then combine them all together into a single MP3 file to make a song.So what you do with this is connect your instrument, such as a guitar or bass, to the input section and record a track. Then you can also listen to what you already recorded previously through the headphone part of it for the next instrument, and so on. There are a couple of dials - one is your headphone volume, and the other is the gain (how much sound inputs from instrument onto your device) for the instrument being recorded. It's basically that simple - a two way interface for inputting sound while listening to already-recorded output sound. You just want to be able to record different instruments and hear the previous ones that you recorded while recording a new one. If there is latency - that is to say, a delay - between what you are listening to and what you're trying to record, that makes for a terrible recording because then instruments timing is off. But this neat little device has almost no latency that I can perceive. So it works fantastically! You just connect it to your phone/device using the correct cord, and then you connect the instrument you want to input into the 1/8-in jack (you may need an adapter for that to go from 1/4 in to 1/8th in), but then you can also listen to it through headphones. And most headphones have an 1/8-in jack so you just connect them and play and listen and record.I recorded a video of me playing a very simple bass and guitar blues-y sounding track so you can hear what the two tracks together were and there was no latency when I recorded it. In my photo my thumb is where the input jack is on this device. The output is the one on the top; for me it's a USB-C. The headphone jack has the headphone icon. Adjust headphones volume and gain - boom! Good to go.I have no idea what the battery input does but it doesn't matter to me because this thing works great using it as I've used it. Hopefully you find way to be able to make use of it if you were unsure, because yes, the directions are terrible. But since you know what to do now, go do it! And get this because it's great.

Does exactly what I needed!
I purchased this for the use of recording drum videos using my phone. I was able to successfully feed a polished sound from my laptop/mixer into my phone with minimal issues. 4 stars because there is some electrical noise when my phone is connected to it but it's drowned out in the recordings.I would definitely recommend this product.
