I've bought a few toys similar to this one becuase they seem to hold a child's attention for quite a while. This one is no different. It's well made and the magnet in the pen is strong enough to move everything well through the clear plastic top. So far I haven't noticed any scratches on the top either. The wood is smooth with no splinters and well put together so I'm not concerned about it opening up and becoming a choking hazard. It works best when on a flat surface.

This is nice to have when you travel. It keeps the kids busy. IT has several little activities for for the kids to play while in the car or church.

My kids enjoy this one, and so do I. It's educational and entertaining, especially as it has two magnets so we can play together or with siblings, to complete the "puzzle" of matching upper-case to lower-case letters. A couple of adult-level complaints that could be improved - 1) we got the space version, and the letters are not arranged as logically as with the cars one; they still go in order, but they jump around a bit so learning to sequence them properly is a little bit lost 2) with some of the fonts, the letter themselves are hard to distinguish; admittedly, it will always be hard to differentiate a capital i from a lowercase L, however even the lowercase n looks like a u. 3) The magnetics sometimes flip from one rocket to another, make it hard to turn the pieces (or not) etc., though this last is a minor annoyance at worst and my kids aren't bothered by it. Overall, my kids have fun with it, and I recommend it.

I love these board for fine motor practice in the classroom. The kids love them, they work easily, and are very entertaining. Plus, they are learning too!! Win win!

These mazes are great! I will add this particular one to my science area, as an additional activity. A maze not only develops eye hand coordination and fine motor skills, but also dexterity and precision. I love the space theme, which always captures children' attention.

The cars were stuck on top of each other and the Magnet was not strong enough to move cars off of each other. Piece was broke off.
