FUN PROJECT!
This was a Christmas present for my husband. He loves to build kits, and this is his first guitar.Pros: Beautifully illustrated assembly manual. Perfect placement of pre-drilled screw holes. Quality wood and parts. Outstanding customer support team, if needed. Very reasonably priced.Cons: Proper playing setup is a bit challenging if you have never owned a guitar. Luckily, there are plenty of YouTube detailed instructional videos available.Final Review: Beautiful guitar that sounds great! Highly recommended!!!!

Actually a product I would whole heartedly endorse
With this guitar I find the playability extremely amazing, sounds great with every single genre even metal! This guitars somehow has the abilities of playing like a humbucker a lot of times. The quality you receive is beyond insane with properly leveled frets, and along with its ease of setup it took me about 30 minutes to build with a screwdriver and a wrench. Appearance wise is wow, I can’t say I’m not in love with it as I don’t use my other guitars much anymore due to this one. Don’t even get me started again on the sound quality because holy heck is it just perfection. If you need a guitar that is cheap and amazing to play, this is your calling.

DIY fun educational build
Just buy it! I thoroughly enjoyed assembling and finishing this guitar. I bought it because I needed the educational experience and there is something to be said about creating your own guitar. Is it a high end Strat, no. Is it a guitar I would gig with, eh perhaps with some upgrades. But it has become my favorite guitar to play and it feels nice in the lap and the finishes are smooth and the guitar is very user friendly. Assembly was an absolute breeze!I can’t wait to build the tele next!

Awesome guitar if you are interested in learning how to build one
The media could not be loaded. It’s a great kit comes with everything you need . My only 2 complaints was the instructions was not clear with the plugs to the 3 way switch but it’s simple enough to figure out . And there is a coating on the face of the guitar with makes it hard to stain . because it’s a really thin piece of wood . I just took some really light sandpaper and was really careful not to blow through it. But the finished product came out awesome. If you like the color I used transtint real red ( 2 coats not diluted ) and left the back natural just put 2 coats of shellac.

If Looking at Kits this is the One!
I got the telecaster style to make a Christmas gift for my nephew. Worth the money 100%. That being said here's my experience with this kit.1. I wanted to do a green burst stain. It turned out looking nice, but not really a classic burst, as the mahogany doesn't stain so well in that way. I was really happy with how it turned out, just not a burst if that's what you are going for, find something with a maple face.2. The build quality is top notch. You can easily sand off the FESLEY on the headstock if you want to. The pickups honestly sound better than my Schechter that is a far more expensive seymour duncan setup. It really has a classic Telecaster tone. I was a little sad after I gifted the finished guitar and will probably buy one for myself.3. Only part I felt was a little cheaped out was the tuners, but if they put high end tuners in this would be a $200+ kit and probably not get to people who it needs to from a marketing standpoint, and really buying better tuners is easy enough.

Carved Top guitar kit.
A great kit easy to assemble and looks good. It’s a carved Body with a flame top veneer that really makes the guitar. Great purchase.

Great kit with learning opportunities...
Bought this to learn some things about guitar construction. It was fun. But... you will note in the seller's description that the kit was preassembled and then taken apart to ensure things would go well with assembly. This is false as the pilot holes were just that and had never had anything screwed into them. Aside from false advertising, it was fun and I learned a lot. Now, as for quality issues... the tuners are wretched, and the pickups, though not noisy (I was surprised) sound like tin cans with string tied between them. The neck's not bad, and the frets are actually quite good, not sharp on the ends. The body is nice with cavities nicely routed. All in all, in looks pretty nice. Now... I plan to really have some fun with serious modding. Would I buy one of these again? Yeah. For $99.95 I was impressed with the outcome, better than I expected. Been playing for 48 years. This was my first attempt at a full on kit and I'm glad I did it.

Fun kit; great customer service
I am a complete novice and decided to work on this kit. I am having a lot of fun with of course some moments of 😆 omg, but the kit is really well made and has all the components needed. It is a learning process - I am great with DIY and such but as I work on the strings and getting it set up, I look to various YouTube videos to help me with details on setting up and tuning the strings. For me, this learning process is so much fun and I can proudly say I put the strat kit together myself! Now that’s bragging rights in my friend circle! 😎As for the Fesley customer service, they are absolutely fantastic! Liam from customer service emailed me prior to the kit arriving and has been helping me with answering all my questions - promptly and professionally. It has been so helpful! Thank you, Liam! He also answered my questions re staining the body, what type of stain and sealer, as well as what type of replacement strings.Additionally, Fesley continues to ask me for feedback re improving their kits. I’m noting down some areas that I would like to provide feedback/changes/improvements- as I stated I am a novice and since this is a kit that includes those of us new to the guitar world and wanting to expand our knowledge/experience, I think little touches such as color coding the strings, including a pick, expanding on their setup video, to name a few.I will post a follow up with images of my completed guitar! So excited to start tutorials and having fun!🤩
