They do what I needed. Audio is great, video is awesome. Use them in my Sony hi8. Record, transfer footage to digital, then record back over them. I treat them like a memory card basically and get multiple uses out of them. Come with case & inserts so you can label them if you want.Kind of expensive ($37) but what can you do. The fact that these are still available new is well worth it.

Perfect condition. I was amazed to find these were in as good a condition as if they were made today. No scuffs even on the original plastic wrapping. The tapes both are exactly what they say and work great. Im soHappy i can use my familys old hi-8 camera. Delivered fast and with no delay.

The mailing package and wrapping was on but Case chipped cracked and broken

I used BOTH of my tapes in an older Sony video cam and they worked great!

I was not able to find these metal tapes locally so I tried amazon and I am very satisfied with finding these still available. These are for use in my video camera (which is several years old). We have a wedding coming up for which I wanted these tape to record this event. I have not as yet used them, but they are like what I had previous used a couple of year ago. I think price was good also.
