First of all only about 3-4 wings have holes punched out of them the rest you need to do with your fingers.The holes are shaped like a nut but do not put these on the nut shaped ring they go on the top arm which is attached to the stem before you place every wing on the arm you first slide on one yellow ring then the wings when this is done place another yellow ring then press in the nut shaped ring then press on the small red dome and your windmill will work brilliantly they are good size and look great with the wind.
