The light up feature is cool but it needs to be dark outside to view it. The temperature gauge is fast and easy to read.

I bought this item over a month ago and just decided to check it out. The lights do not come on when I press the Mode button. Unfortunately, I am unable to return the product through AMAZON. This is so unfortunate and I will next time check it out when I first get the product to verify that it works. It is amazing how badly manufactured pool products are these days.Update: The company stood by their product and sent me another newer one. The lights were working and looks nice. I appreciate the customer service. It seems like a solid product. I will update again once I get it into the pool this summer.

Would give it Zero but not an option . The lights never worked and with a month and a half it’s completely fogged over and impossible to read the temperature. The product is defective and I’ve been trying to get AMAZON to respond. I’m on the phone with them now and they’re telling me it’s no longer possible. Defective is defective. It’s not like I changed my mind.

I purchased this thermometer for my in-ground pool. The little bonus part of it is the lights that are attached to it. They are not very bright or anything spectacular but the temperature reading on it is dead on exact. We have an inground pool with a heater and this floating thermometer/ light show work great

Worked fine for about 3-4 months, then it got water inside and now stopped working. Lights looked great when it lasted. Temperature readout was very accurate.

I was disappointed that the “light show” doesn’t light up the whole pool. It only lights up right below the thermometer and isn’t that bright at all. My pool sits in the sun all day, so it gets all the power it needs. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money.UPDATE:After writing my previous review, I immediately got a response from Carina. She was absolutely amazing in making my order right. She offered me one of their other products in place of the faulty thermometer. I love my new product! BTW my thermometer works it’s the lights that didn’t work. I highly recommend this company. They go out of their way to make things right. Again Carina was absolutely amazing.
