Uni-Ball 2004052 Stick Gel Pen, Micro 0.38mm, Assorted Ink, Clear Barrel, 8/Set

I loved the .38 tip on these pens. They aren't for coloring but are great for letter writing, drawing detailed pictures and bullet journals. The colors are vibrant and the ink dries quickly (no smears)They are the high quality you would expect from Uniball.

I love these pens! I've ordered this particular set twice this year. I love them so much and bought them despite not having a black or red in this collection, because they write so incredibly. I know I can buy black, but this set is just so freaking affordable! $4.99 for a set of 8 of these? Most other packs are at least $1.50 per pen, so, not only are these pens incredible.....they're an amazing value! Smudging? Never! Spotty lines? Not these! Seep thru paper? Don't even think about it! The tip? SUPER DUPER FINE! The smoothest pens I've ever used! As long as these babies don't get changed or "improved", then I'm a customer for life!

Now I can decorate my journal and write a fabulous story.

The negative comments about these gel pens gave me pause to try this product. However, as a $5.50 add-on item, it was worth the gamble. I'm not an expert nor a pen collector. Just looking for ultra-fine tipped color gel pens to write with on occasion. These pens exceeded my expectation and met every criteria I had been looking for. The body of the pen feels nicely balanced with a significant feel in the hand. The tip is an extra extra fine point which writes well and smoothly and evenly. No scratchy feel. No ink trailing from one letter to the next. No blotching or clogging at the tip. The ink is pretty fast drying too. I like that, because smudging can be frustrating. This is a great brand and a great bargain.

This is one of the great buys for artists! I love how precise it works, and I even asked for someone to get these for me when I was outside of the country. Uniball never disappoints, if you are especially working very tiny and small, this is the perfect product. The colors are vivid but not so vivid that it hurts your eyes. I am an abstract artist and can honestly say that I have used this so many times. It is very similar to Sarasa Japanese pens, and I think you should get it if you are an illustrator, or fine artist who wants exactness in their making.

I love that these pens are ultra fine, but they didn’t write well. That being said, I don’t think it was so much the pens as it was the ones I received. Perhaps they were just from a bad batch. It took a minute to get them to write. Once they were warmed up, they worked great. However, the next time I picked them up, it took a minute to get them going again. Also, a couple of the colors didn’t work at all...very frustrating!! They were on the cheap side, so perhaps they were just from old batch?? I think next time, I’ll spend a little more for ultra fine pens : )

I do a lot of journaling, and these are absolutely my favorite pens. They’re very fine line and write in a Bible without bleeding onto the back of the page. I highly recommend them. This set in particular is wonderful because it has so many colors.

Colors are nice, but these are the worst micro rollers I’ve purchased. When writing at a normal speed, there are dropouts in every letter. The only way to get a consistent full line with vivid color is to write at a speed of 5 words per minute (only if you stay at the exact perfect angle). They also make a scratchy metallic sound on the paper (the sound of metal scratching paper with no ink) I still have some color uniball micros from around 2002, and they still work and are 500% better than these “Signo” pieces of junk

I have been using uni-ball Ultra Micro Point 0.38 pens for some three decades. 5 stars every the time. (Value for money = 10 stars)
