After purchasing my Dreo portable smart air conditioner, I’m thrilled to share my amazing customer service experience with Amazon shoppers seeking innovative and budget-friendly air cooling solutions, especially those interested in smart air conditioners that blend style and functionality.Like many of you who need this particular kind of cooling solution in the upcoming summer months, I searched for and needed an air conditioner that could be tech-smart, portable, reliable efficient.Not only did my Dreo Air Conditioner meet those requirements, it exceeded my expectations. Friends, this air conditioner provides exceptionally cool, comfortable and clean air for my condo - period!I live in an older high rise building built in the mid-70s in the San Francisco East Bay Area where most buildings were constructed without central air conditioning and typically the weather conditions aren’t very hot. Enter the 2000s and every state in the US now has heatwaves! To resolve this issue especially since my unit is on the top floor and underneath the rooftop of building, I decided to go portable with my air conditioner situation.I initially purchased it for my downstairs living room area and when I installed it, turned it on and felt how incredibly comfortable it felt to have cool air, I decided to get another unit for my upstairs area.And WOW! 🥰The remotes, the modes, the temp controls, asking Alexa to make it happen and the ease of it all?Two word, folks: GET ONE!Before I forget, I must personally thank the Dreo Team for being incredibly responsive and professional! I have had this a few weeks and can say I’m very happy with my purchase. This has been so helpful in cooling our large master bedroom. Between this and our other amazing Midea u shaped air conditioner these both cool our house perfectly. I love the led screen on the front and the awesome features and simplicity of the app. We have a Hisense portable air conditioner that’s we purchased a few years ago, but even on the low setting it’s so much louder than this and hard to sleep even on the low setting. This Dreo 14,000 btu unit is not whisper quiet but compared to the Hisense I can sleep when it’s on the low setting even when the loud converter comes on. This is not as quiet as the Midea u shaped air conditioner because with that one half of it sits outside the window which makes the compressor be outside so that is super quiet. For our bedroom that was not possible to put one in there because the windows go side to side unlike the up and down window the Midea is on. The black color looks great and it’s not as huge as our Hisense one so that’s a huge plus. I highly recommend this amazing portable air conditioner for those scorching summer days. I have not had any issues with water leaking, but we are in Colorado and the humidity is usually pretty low unless it rains or snows. I highly recommend this Dreo portable air conditioner.

Usually, I don't write reviews but for this A.C. I'm going to. I bought it back in April 2025 the UPS guy brought it upstairs for me! After unboxing in April I tried to power it up to see if it at least worked. It did! I was planning to set up in mid May but it's the 7th of May close enough.Make sure you let it set upright for 6-12 hours before use it'll tell you on the instructions.Set up is real easy and it's not hard to install at all. I'm not a handy dandy person so no tools needed. You have all the foamy stuff you need and the hose just slides in on the back and pop and clicks in the window hole thingy. When you plug it in press the top button on the plug and presto!I've been running it for an hour now and it works fine. The cooling ability takes a few minutes to kick in so be patient. It makes my room apartment feel comfortable. It's not very heavy and the size it's perfect for any room because it doesn't take up much space. It's also on wheels so you can move it easily!I love the remote control and batteries come with it which was great because I didn't have any batteries. It also has an app you could use but I don't need to use that since I live in a small apartment I can just turn it on from the ac or if I'm lazy I can use the remote.Don't delay order one for yourself now!

Month in no issues except for how much condensation it creates.Thou this was expected living in hot humid FL had the condensation line draining into a 5 gallon water tank. Sadly I’d still ended up emptying the water out twice a day or my floor would start to get wet. Since I work 10 hours a day sadly had to clean up the overflow a couple of times. Bought a condensate pump and it’s been nothing but a joy since I installed it. No more emptying water and no more messes. I’d say the AC works well for my bedroom it’s about 600sq Ft. keeps my room at a comfortable 72 on days when the temperature shoots up to above 93. Night time it drops down to 67 and sometimes all the way down to 65 if it’s been raining or cloudy outside. Love that I can use the app to control my AC . Hardly use the remote that came with it. Just the app mostly.
