Bought as my internal drive was erratic and the (Windows 11) PC often didn't recognise when a CD was put in or resume playing when un-paused.No such issues with this little drive. Immediately recognised, super fast transfers on USB 3.0 and gives me the option of playing CDs/DVDs through the tablet.The only little niggle is the short (24cm) in built lead which doesn't quite reach the desktop port with it sat flat or the tablet port which is on the upright side. Not a major issue and the chord probably wouldn't stow so neatly if longer.It has an SD and MicroSD reader built in too which would cost the same without the CD bit!Not tried burning with it - amazed it does that as well.Overall, excellent buy and does exactly what's needed. Recommended

Best to use additional power

Have been using to install some very old games and to copy pictures from cds

The connection doesn't fit my phone or laptop. What country is this compatible with? Or, have I just been sent the wrong lead?

Very nice indeed worked soon as plugged in, best bit is the attached power cable what you can neatly fold back into the base when done. The price was also excellent value especially as it has a cd burning capability.

I play the music for over 60's dancing. This enabled me to put all my cd's onto a laptop.

Cumple perfectamente sus 5 funciones, para esos portátiles q o bien tienen pocos puertos USB o que ya no disponen de lector grabador de Cd y Dvd ni de tarjetas, esta es la solución para aquellos q aún conservamos CDs con fotos, documentos , música… para los q usamos tarjetas SD y microsd en videocámaras y cámaras de fotos y q queremos conectarlas directamente al ordenador. Tened en cuenta q el cable de conexión viene insertado por debajo , yo al principio no lo ví, lo conecté con el q trae suelto y no me funcionaba… hasta q descubrí q estaba plegado e insertado por debajo del lector.

Acquistato a poco più di 16 € col coupon. Inserito nella presa usb3 di un mini PC con Windows 11 Pro è stato immediatamente rilevato. Provato con CD audio (Windows player) perfettamente funzionante. DVD (VLC) lo stesso. Non provata la masterizzazione. Quindi, sperando duri nel tempo, non posso che consigliarlo.
