I got this for my niece, who is very much into the horse/cowgirl thing, and she loved it. It looks good and came packaged very well, in a heavy foam insert to avoid damage, and even included a couple of extras (notepaper and envelopes, and a couple of small charms and rustic twine to hang them with), so clearly the makers put some thought and care into their presentation, which is nice to see these days.The sculpture itself is very folk-artisanal. It is, perhaps, a little basic, as you might expect from mass-produced art, but it is workmanlike, well-made and solid and, as far as a semi-abstract sculpture of a horse goes, it fits the bill. It looks really nice on the shelf, and is large enough to be impressive without being so big as to take up acres of space. The burgundy color I ordered is really attractive, and lends the sculpture an antique air, without sacrificing the overall modern appearance or being too garish. This would fit into any décor with a Western/cowboy aesthetic, but would also suit any kind of rustic/modern or "coastal cowgirl" scheme as well. Overall we are very happy with it!

This is a lovely metal horse sculpture that would look good on a bookshelf, end table, or in a garden. I got this for a horse lover in the family. I like the interesting fabrication — I see a spring in the tail, and nuts in the mane, and metal wire in the mane. Check the size. I had imagined in my mind that this was going to be smaller, and was surprised at the large size. My error. I would have liked it a tad smaller as this really does make a statement. And the blue on my horse looks more turquoise than the blue depicted in the listing (I prefer the listing color). This comes in a nice cardboard gift box with foam insert specially made for this horse. Also included is a gift envelope, paper, and twine with metal leaves for beautifying your gift.

The horse is intricate & gorgeous and I had no idea that such beauty could come from metal. The craftsmanship is exceptional and I’m in awe of the gifted artists that create such stunning pieces. To get such textures and dimension in “metal” is remarkable! I loved reading about SunBlogs artists and how each piece is unique & handmade- all the steps that each piece goes thru- from welding, molding, cutting, etc… there’s a very extensive process that these one of a kind beauties go through and it’s QUITE IMPRESSIVE! Reading about the craftsmen and the process truly underscored for me how unique & beautiful this art form really is and how special these horse sculptures are. It came beautifully gift boxed if considering it for a special occasion or present. I think anyone, horse lover or not- would be HONORED to have any of these sculptures! I have the horse in our den and my eyes are always drawn to it! It’s THAT kind of art piece. This is an attention getter and will steal the spotlight from other items of home decor in the same room!

This horse sculpture is truly exquisite! I am giving it to my sister as a birthday gift and I know she will love it! It arrived quickly and was packaged well in styrofoam in a nice, sturdy box. The box included rustic-style writing paper, matching envelopes, and twine with two charms, which was a nice added touch!Each piece is handmade and handpainted, making every sculpture unique and unlike any other. I love the beautiful blue color of this sculpture so much that I am considering ordering another one for myself. Maybe this time in burgundy.Overall, I am very pleased with this beautiful piece of art. It will stand out wherever it is displayed, and it certainly deserves to be seen.
