These work great! I am an architecture student which means that I am constantly pinning up and pinning down several papers every week and I've only had one pin break. There is one pin in my case that has a deformity in the metal part, but I have had no problem putting it into a pinboard. The only negative thing I have to say about these is that they are difficult to get out of the wall. I have to use a ruler to kind of pry them off gently and after removing 5-6 of them your fingers will definitely start to hurt. However, normal pins will have similar issues with pain of your hands and difficulty getting them out of the wall. These pins, though, are much much easier to push into the wall than regular pins.For those who might also be using these for pinups, I haven't gotten any negative comments about the pins and they don't cast any shadow on my papers in bright lights or in normal lighting. However, I would recommend going with the silver metal because when the rose gold is in contrast with b&w drawings it is very noticeable.

basically disappears if you drop it, but other than that, it's a great thumb tack to keep things up while hardly being visible! I don't think I'll ever need 150 tacks, but hey, at least I have extras for when I inevitably lose a few!

These tacks are fine enough. I enjoy the large head. With them being labeled "heavy duty", I was hoping to use a hammer on them without them cracking. That hasn't been the case. I've cracked several. I can get them in the wall if I am gentle enough, but they are not as tough as I'd hoped. But they look cute, and didn't cost a lot, so I'm pleased enough with them.

Great little tool for quick and easy decorating! I used these thumbtacks to hang a few things, including a pennant flag, and they held everything securely without damaging my walls.
