Irobot Roomba 801 Robotic Vacuum

It gets a lot of places my normal vacuum can't without a lot of work. It was hard to believe what all it picked up that I had no idea was there. As said in the headline, you need to get up any loose cords like phone charger cables, etc. Also, if you have any carpet with solid black patches, it will think its falling off a cliff and will not go near it. I had it stuck in the same 2x2 area on my carpet for 5 minutes before I had to move it. A minor irritation but I just block that carpet off while its cleaning and move things back after its finished. Emptying the bin and cleaning the filter is super easy, and removing the rollers to get hair, and trapped debris is extremely easy as well, taking no time at all. All in all it works fantastic, and in the end will save my wife loads of time, especially having a dog that sheds profusely. I would recommend this model to anyone with a pet, and wants to save vacuuming/sweeping time each week.

I have absolutely loved this vacuum till today. My kids clean up their toys so they don’t get “eaten” and love to decide who gets to hit the start button. It does a great job and vacuums daily while I do other things. I love waking up to vacuum lines in my carpet and knowing the carpet is cleaned of allergens daily.However, as I opened the plastic clip on the bin where you remove the filter to clean it today, I noticed the plastic is already cracking on the clip. It’s not possible to replace just the door/clip, the whole section that holds debris has to be replaced for over $50. Now, this wouldn’t bother me if it was from abuse. However; the instructions say I should open it with each use and shake out the filter. Which I do. But, it appears this piece is not built to withstand the constant use and breaks in less than 6 months time. I always hate products that appear great then have one faulty part apparent built that way to make you spend more money. I do love the vacuum, so I will likely pay to replace the whole trap when it totally stops working, but be warned about this part. I’m just glad I got this at over half off the normal price so I don’t feel scammed when replacing heavy use parts.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my new little house cleaning pal! This vacuum cleans every bit as well as my upright vac. I have a cat and it picks up all the animal hair. My daughter actually thought that I’d had my rugs shampooed. I would give this item 10 stars, but only 5 were offered. A great product at a fantastic price. I can’t imagine the more expensive model doing a better job than this little 801. BTW, it is quiet enough that my cat takes his nap while it runs around him.

I L O V E this! Wasn’t expecting much, but it’s amazing. A little disappointed it doesn’t have WiFi capability, but it’s kind of nice to not have the extra hassle. I made the schedule to go off everyday at 12 and it doesn’t disappoint. I have long hair and have 2 large breed short haired dogs (Labrador and Rottweiler) and you wouldn’t be able to tell. The first few days I’ve run it I had to empty it a couple times in a single trip because of how much dirt and hair it picks up. I like to run it either in the morning before the scheduled time or in the evening after the scheduled time. It covers 3 carpeted rooms, a carpeted hallway and a linoleum kitchen and does great!!! 10/10 would recommend

This product isn't very practical. It gets "stuck" alot for no apparent reason. It also never returns to its docking station. The only value to me is it cleans under my furniture. The kids like it. Novelty item in my opinion. Would not recommend if you're expecting to come home to a vacuumed house everyday.

We love it. Our Robotic vacuum works well in our 1500 sq ft home (mostly carpeted). We run her 3 times a week, generally have to clean her each use, but it's quick and easy. She rarely gets lost anymore, but can get stuck in uneven spots or around chairs and tight spaces. Still, we are very happy with her performance

This Roomba is working very well. It maneuvers and cleans tile perfectly. It rolls over and cleans thicker shag type rugs perfectly. It passes over and doesn't get stuck by electrical cords. And it is great on animal hair."Great", as in cleans it up and there isnt animal hair tangled up in the rotating brushes.Buy this and try it, it should do well for your home.Battery is lasting just over an hour and 15 minutes for me.The cleaning bin is easy to access and empty out.

GREAT iRobot unit. This little guy has great suction power and stamina. Cleans wood floors and goes right up on the areas rubs without a pause. The unit will run 60-90 minutes. I have it programmed to clean every day - and I empty the collection bin daily of a lot of "yuck"!! Much easier to clean the collection bin on this model versus the 600 series model that I have. I have one on both levels of my house and LOVE them. Great little workers!! Definitely recommend!!
