A masterpiece, a next step in Systems Science and thinking
Einstein noted “A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” David has helped us, on this book, on the journey of understanding and compassion called for by Einstein.

A beautiful assembly of the foundation of systemic thinking
I’m very excited to finally have my own copy of this book. David Shugar does an excellent job of conveying the complexities of this field of study. Through his very precise selection of language and stunning visual figures to supplement the key points, Shugar makes the content of his book easily digestible and deeply fascinating.

Absolutely Brilliant! A Life’s work!
The media could not be loaded. If you have a brain for Systems Science, natural geometry and the potential practical applications of Systems Science this book is incredible. David Shugar brings you into his mind where you can marvel along with him at the beauty of natures design and began to see the naturally derived potential applications in sustainable designs

Systems science is is a much needed path to a more integrated natural worldview
I loved how this book connects seemingly separate fields of biology, natural sciences, physics, and sustainability to view them in the lens of a system working together. Not just focusing on the parts, but seeing the whole. This book has beautiful graphics and is inspiring to flip through. Systems science is is a much needed path to a more integrated natural worldview.
