We used these for table centerpieces for a graduation party. We added clear decorative rocks to the bottom of the jars to prevent the wind from blowing them off of the tables as they are very light weight plastic. They worked great and glowed all night.

I ordered this for my sons graduation party and they were a huge hit!

The kit comes with everything you need, all you need to do is provide the creativity!There are some things to note about this set though...Jars. The jars are actually plastic and NOT glass. Just as good, it ensure you can't hurt anyone should they break. Speaking of break, the plastic on these jars are so thin, they can easily get pushed in (dented) with rough handling. The good news is that you can pop out the dents just as easily as you created them.The mortarboards are a really cute touch, and they fit over the top of the jar acting as a lit. Unfortunately, they come off just as easy as you set them on top. The fit is not a snug one, so little movement or even strong gusts of wind will blow these away.The opening on the jar is also quite small, so decorating them may be a little more clumsy for of you with larger hands.The LED string light are one of my favorite touches. Powered by a button cell battery (included), these lights blink and light up nicely adding sparkle to your venue.Lastly, you can write on these jars and erase them. I used a wet erase marker and was able to wipe away my message with just a wet (water) cloth.Overall, this set is still a very cute set and will nice to have as table decor for any grad party. The lightweight materials make it more for indoor applications rather than outdoor ones where they can be blown away with strong winds. They're pricey at $42 for a set of 8, but it's a one time expense, splurge a little...

These graduation jars are easy to assemble. The angel lights inside give the table a nice touch at night when the lights are more visible.I just wished the jars are out of glass instead of plastic. It looks a bit cheaper with the plastic jar and the paper decoration.Even though it still looked nice as a table decoration, I am not sure if it was worth the money as it was pretty pricey.
