Safe, convenient, useful
Provides a safe application of tools to fix electrical connections where the breaker switch is unknown. Tools are placed in a convenient case with easy access to the tools. Have used the tools to strip wires, cut wires, loosen or tighten screws, and bend/shape thick wires.

Not Wiha, but fine for most DIY work. Pliers, meh.
This is a first impressions review; I have some electrical work coming up and will update this review after that. This is a nice looking, apparently insulated kit, in a handy carry bag.Made to look like Wiha screw drivers, but at about 1/2th the cost, and maybe 1/2th the durabilty?Compared to my Wera (woodworkers, uninsulated) set, the handles are less grippy (harder plastic) and the handle base is square rather than hex sided (for wrench leverage) of the Wera's.They feel fine in hand and are the right size for electrical use, though are metric sizes. The steel looks good but is hard to tell short of destructive testing. So the screwdrivers are decent. The pliers though, are embarrassing - closed, I see plenty of daylight shining thru the jaws.Cast, not machined? Not sure. Will they still 'clamp' on larger things? Sure, and probably ok for 14ga or larger solid core, but not so much for 20 ga or less (except maybe, accidentally, as wire strippers? :) Not confidence inspiring. The stripper tool is also pretty crude, but again, more or less workable. The electrical tester? We'll see - I think I'd rather trust my life on a better brand, but it will at least give you a hint. The side cutter is pretty effective - again, how long is hard to say, but first impressions are pretty good. The cable knife looks ok, but again, how well it holds up, say, against a leatherman, is hard to predict. The case is quite nice, and a good place to store/hold your electricians tools - THAT I like a lot.For now, I'm giving it 4 stars, based mostly on looks.Further updates to come later.

EXCELLENT TOOLS
They are not of such high quality, but for occasional work at a reasonable price, they are an excellent purchase.

Well, I haven't shocked myself yet!
I had some skepticism ordering an unknown brand's insulated tools, but for the price and variety it was nearly impossible to pass up. When you order from a known brand like Wiha or the like, you can essentially blindly trust that the insulation is as effective as claimed (though the do advertise as VDE-rated), whereas you need to have a little bit of blind trust when ordering from a new company.I can say that the quality of the tools is quite good- maybe not as good as the more expensive name brands, but the distinction between the quality is negligible given just how much more affordable these are. I haven't had any issues with the tools in use, and fortunately haven't needed to test their insulation rating. There is nothing that outwardly suggests they won't meet or exceed their 1000V rating- in fact being VDE-rated means it's as good as it gets. Overall a terrific value for the money!
