A very interesting and enjoyable book which highlights many of the political and economic problems we face today. It is presented in a manner and style which would be compatible with individuals who have different levels of knowledge of economics, politics and business generally. Also excellent and innovative suggestions to help resolve current long term problems which we face at this moment in time.

A must-read so interesting!
How Countries Go Broke: The Big Cycle by Ray Dalio is a sweeping, data-rich analysis of how nations collapse under the weight of unsustainable debt. Dalio introduces his “Big Debt Cycle” framework, drawing from 35 historical case studies to explain how excessive borrowing, political dysfunction, and monetary mismanagement lead to economic ruin. The book is packed with insights for investors, policymakers, and anyone curious about the fate of global economies. It’s not light reading—dense and technical at times—but Dalio’s knack for pattern recognition and historical parallels makes it compelling. If you’ve ever wondered how the U.S. or other major powers could “go broke” without a formal default, this book lays it out with sobering clarity. One star docked for repetition of themes from his earlier works, but still a must-read for macroeconomic thinkers

How countries go boke by Ray Dalio
A revamp version of Ray Dalio classic work "The changing World Order" ; if you haven't read it I strongly recommend to buy it. If you have been following Ray Dalio for a while, the concepts and principle "How countries go broke" will sound pretty much familiar to you, but never the less an enjoyable reading
