I gave it 5 stars because of its price range, sound quality, versatility and portability. This speaker is worth every penny for its audio quality and price range. It offers very deep lows and superior highs. It is built ragged and solid for indoor and outdoor party activities.It has 3 handles for easy portability around the house or outside. It looks good around living room furniture which is a plus. This thing can get very loud. It is ready for any input including stereo red and white (L/R) input. It has a very long range Bluetooth as well.Because of onboard mixer at the back, 3 channels each with individual gain. The master volume, and adjustable treble and bass makes the speaker ready for all types of audio needs, such as movies, music, speeches, karaoke. etc. This speaker has wireless link to pair with another (similar) to set up a true stereo environment. I only bought one so I could not test that (TWS) feature.You can’t go wrong with this speaker, at the price of 250-300 bucks. This versatile speaker beats a lot of high end similar items.The attached Sample product video does not do justice to the deep bass and the quality sound this speaker offers.Verdict: I like it.Cons: I wish the onboard mixer could be placed at the top rather than at the back of the speaker.

I bought this speaker as an upgrade from Gemini's 8 inch powered loudspeaker we've been using in our basement home gym. I was hoping the bass response would be improved with the larger woofer, and I was not disappointed. We were a bit surprised at how large it was when it arrived. Maybe we should have used a tape measure before ordering!In terms of audio, bass response is very strong out of the box, even a bit too strong for my liking. But I found that dialing back both the bass and treble controls balanced out the sound very nicely. We did a back to back comparison with the 8 inch speaker, and it's no contest. The 8 inch is good, but this one makes you feel like you're at the concert. Some very unscientific sound spectrum measurements using a smartphone app showed good frequency response down to 80Hz for this speaker compared to 200Hz from the older 8" speaker. I was pleasantly surprised to see how flat the response curve is from this speaker. The biggest dip in the frequency response for this speaker was less than 20dB, compared to nearly 40dB from the older 8 inch speaker. For a large 2-way speaker I'm impressed!I was curious if I'd be able to hear any difference between the class AB amplifiers in the 8 inch speaker and the new class D amps in this model. Maybe someone with more discerning ears could hear a difference, but this speaker sounds great to me. And it has plenty of power. Our space is around 600 square feet, and we barely use 1/4 of the available volume.I don't plan to use the bluetooth connection regularly, but it did connect easily, and seemed to work well. And the construction of the cabinet seems to be durable. You can definitely cart this around without any trouble.

Only used speaker once. And now I don't get clear music anymore. The lights flash on the back and the sound is terrible. Going to Replace it.Not much help from customer service.

I needed this for an event and the sound is excellent. The microphones come in clear. I love the sync option so we could attach a second speaker if needed. This is a great product without the high price tag usually attached to sound equipment.

Bluetooth connection to laptop or phone was very easy. Country, Rock and Pop music all sound very good with a nice amount of low end and has the ability to play at quite a loud volume due to its size. If you like really sub bass heavy music like Rap/HipHop I would recommend linking a subwoofer to this speaker or getting a speaker setup with a subwoofer.Individual volume/mixer and bass/treble knobs are along with the blue tooth are very nice features.I am planning on using this speaker to play music during backyard fireworks during a 4th of July party.I will update this review after party.

I got one at first just to try out and it was what I was looking for so I got 2 and stands and a mixer for parties and karaoke. They are loud with lots of bass and the Bluetooth works great.

This mother is huge! Was very excited about that when first saw it. Proved to be loud and bass-forward— to forward for my tastes, But I’m sure it would be awesome for others. The mic is pretty bad, ond other mics didn’t prove to work much better. And the overall sound became muddier. Had to be so close that it was impossible for my lips too not brush against the mic to get an acceptable volume. This of course cause an annoying scraping sound. The other star off is because, 2while they received my return on June 27, they are still saying they have still not refunded my money. Those issues aside, if I was just looking for big sound for Spotify playback, At this price point, I would give it five stars.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this speaker as an upgrade to my current monitor which is also a Gemini. The design of it looked very sleek and the specs were pretty good. The speaker is well built and not as heavy as other 15" speakers. I have owned and still own a bunch of Gemini products one of my favorites being the LRX-1204. Now back to this speaker. This speaker rocks. The bass hits and the highs are crisp. I was amazed that when pushed that it was not distorted and the clip light was not lit. I am planning on buying another to use for my dj setups. The only con that I do have is if it had DSP, but the bass and treble do clarify the sound well.
