I'm extremely pleased with this tap. My previous conventional tap was getting old and difficult to turn on and off and so I decided to replace it with this lever handle type as I was having some difficulty turning taps anyway due to wrist joint problems. The fitting took less than 15 minutes (and I'm no plumber!), and then it was just a quarter turn to turn the water on and then a quarter turn back to turn it off again, perfect! The only thing I intend to do is apply a small amount of vaseline to the handle area to try and prevent any rust forming on the lever. All in all I'm delighted and consider this to be excellent value.

I have lost count of the number of outdoor brass taps I have purchased over the years.Main problems with all my purchases are that they continually leak, do not align up when fitting and the tap stiffens with age.O.K., so I have installed this tap only a matter of a few weeks ago, but so far.....Installation was a piece of cake and the tap was perfect in alignment ( yes I used some plumbers tape ).Operating the tap is a simple case of pushing the lever ( yes it is adjustable ) and takes a split second, compared to turning thetypical tap .So far..VERY impressed, I only hope I do not have to update this review.

We had a normal outside tap, which (a) took several turns to switch fully on/off and (b) my wife found difficult to turn due to arthritis in her hand. Switch off the water at the main stop cock, unscrew your old tap, wrap some plumbing tape around the thread on the new tap and screw it tightly into place then turn the stopcock back on. Because it operates on a lever it's extremely easy to turn fully on and off with only a quarter turn or to set the flow you need it.

Solid valve movement , handle is a little bit too thin for my liking but it’s not exposed to severe weather so it should be OK for average garden use .

Got this to replace a leaking garden tap.Put some Ptfe tape round the thread so it wouldn't leak and luckily it ended up straight.The hose connector it comes with is useless because the hose adapter just slips off with any movement.I used my own double adaptor but lucky I had some spare washers and some silicone grease because the thread on the is so shallow the adapter would not screw on enough not to leak.Only time will tell but would definitely buy another brand next time.

quite good in itself but the base to which I screwed it to, when tight was 90 degrees out i.e. lever up and down rather than left right out so had to root around for some suitable washers.
