Nice update over the original normcore WDT tool
This has an extra prong in the center versus the original Normcore WDT tool. This is a good quality tool and works very nicely. Great upgrade compared to the original.

Lovely WDT
Coming from a cheap WDT tool, this tool from Normcore is a huge jump up. The amount and spacing of the needles lets you evenly distribute the bed orders of magnitude faster than my previous tool. Highly recommend.

Handy Tool
Very handy to distribute grounds in the portafilter. The handle is magnetic. Love this feature. I'd slap it on the side of my espresso machine and just leave it there for easy access and storage.

Precision Espresso Tool for Perfect Shots!
The Normcore WDT Tool has been a game-changer for my espresso brewing. The 9 prongs are perfectly spaced and thin enough (0.23mm) to break up clumps in the coffee grounds, ensuring an even distribution. This has noticeably improved the consistency of my espresso shots. The anodized aluminum handle feels premium and easy to grip, and the non-stick coating makes it a breeze to clean. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about their espresso, especially if you use the Weiss Distribution Technique. Highly recommend for baristas looking to refine their extraction process!

Great WDT tool
I've been drinking espresso for over 20 years and even spent some time working at a coffee bar in college, but clearly over the last decade or so I've settled into the "what can I get quickly" zone and now use an illy machine with illy pods. Our friend, on the other hand, invested in an expensive machine, an equally expensive coffee grinder, and made us espresso recently while he went over all of the subtle nuances to "proper" espresso craft. I had no idea how technical things have gotten (or maybe have been all along, but it seems that recently this has really become a big deal). I decided I should bring our traditional espresso machine out of retirement and gather up the proper tools to make espresso the "correct" way. This tool definitely helps ensure there are no clumps in the ground coffee (I wasn't about to take out a second mortgage to buy a super-fancy grinder), and that's a good start to a great cup of espresso.

Easy to use
We recently got into espresso making and went down the rabbit hole of preparing a good puck before dialing in. YouTube university said I "need" a good WDT tool to distribute the coffee chunks to prevent channeling during extraction. So, I got this WDT tool and I was surprised at how thin and sturdy the needles were. They didn't bend when I lightly distributed my coffee grinds in my portafilter basket. The handle is made from anodized aluminum. It has a good weight to it and it's also magnetic. It's easy to put the needles in and out. The only con is that it didn't come with a stand or case. But it's not a deal breaker for us. Using the WDT tool adds to the experience of preparing a puck, it is fun and satisfying to see how fluffy the grinds look in the basket. One thing to note is that ours did not come with the two sets of the 0.3mm and 0.4mm (9 needles each) that is mentioned in the description. Not sure which size we got, but we only got 16 total in one little packet.

Great Addition to my Tamping station
This is by far my favorite WDT. It is the latest addition to my Normcore tamping station and fits in perfectly. It is light enough that it sticks to the magnet on my tamp station and the prongs are spread out perfectly to reduce the amount of movement I have to make when using it. Overall, Normcore has proven to be a brand I can trust and I will continue to choose them over their competitors. If it says "Normcore" it's quality.

Love it all except that it's missing a stand!
Another quality normcore product! As I love all things white, this WDT tool was right up my alley! It's sleek, ergonomic, and super easy to use. I just wish I had a place to put it while i'm not using it. Huge miss on the experience on this for me.Other than that, the tool works great. I'd highly recommend getting the stand with this if you are a hardcore normcore fan.
