First I was anxious when it arrived in a crumpled crushed box but the parts were all good. Once I fitted the correct screw-in fitting it was easy. It is quiet but effective for our bedroom. Remote control for 3 speeds and various light settings. For the money we paid, it is great value.

So this fan looks quite large in the image description, but in reality, it's taller than wider. You have to look at the lamp-holder to view it's perspective. That said, it's still big enough to do the job of keeping you cool.It's not going to blast out lots of cool air, but has enough power to circulate the air in the room and that too, quietly.The fan has 3 speeds and works independently of the light. It's quite responsive to button clicks on the remote and starts, stops almost immediately.It also remembers your last setting when turning back on from the remote.For the lamp, this has 3 light colour temperatures and can be selected incrementally from warm white to cool white. brightness can be controlled in the same way, and at max, it's bright enough to light up the whole bedroom, based on an average size of 4 meters by 4 meters.It's also quite stable when the fan starts. I would have expected it to have a imbalanced wobble, but on the contrary, it's stable too.This was priced at £26.99 at the time of this review, which I think is a little steep and think there may be others that can do the same job for competitively similar or better price.The only one thing I think could have been better, is that the unit could have felt a little more robust and also, when selecting the timer, there is no acknowledgement from the lamp.

Very disappointed, after waiting several weeks for this item to arrive, I found it was not as described, it gave the imprison it was bigger but found it to be far smaller than expected.

Fan works but the light doesn't.
